Touch-free, voice-assistant, and/or tracking systems and methods for automating roster generation and tracking of child events
Abstract
Touch-free, voice-assistant, and/or tracking systems and methods are described for automating roster generation and tracking of child event data. In various aspects, the touch-free, voice-assistant, and/or tracking systems and methods comprise receiving, by one or more processors, one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location. A roster is generated based on a count of the one or more name values. Child event data is received comprising information related to a childcare event. The child event data is based on audible input of a user as received via a voice command interface of a voice-assistant application (app) as implemented on a voice assistance device. The childcare roster may be updated based on the child event data.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A voice-assistant system configured to automate roster generation and tracking of child events, the voice-assistant system comprising:
a voice-assistant application (app) comprising computing instructions configured for implementation on a voice assistant device, the voice-assistant app comprising a voice command interface configured to receive an audible input of a user; and a server comprising one or more processors and one or more memories, and the server communicatively coupled via a computer network to the voice-assistant app, wherein the server comprises computing instructions configured to execute on the one or more processors of the server, wherein the computing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, cause the one or more processors of the server to: receive one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location, generate a roster based on a count of the one or more name values, the roster comprising the one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location; receive a first child event data, from the voice-assistant app, wherein the first child event data is based on the audible input of the user, and update the roster based on the first child event data.
2 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein the first child event data comprises an event date.
3 . The voice-assistant system of claim 2 , wherein the event date is an attendance or an absence.
4 . The voice-assistant system of claim 2 , wherein the event date is received from an attendance tracking component.
5 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein the one or more processors of the server receives a second child event data, from the voice-assistant app, comprising information related to use of a childcare product of at least one product type, wherein the second child event data is based on the audible input of the user.
6 . The voice-assistant system of claim 5 , wherein the second child event data comprises a change event corresponding to a name value of the one or more name values, and wherein the childcare product is a diaper.
7 . The voice-assistant system of claim 5 , wherein receipt of the second child event data causes a child-specific tracked inventory of the childcare product of a child of the one or more children to be updated.
8 . The voice-assistant system of claim 5 , wherein the computing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors of the server to:
initiate an order for provision of one or more additional childcare products of the at least one product type.
9 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein the computing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors of the server to:
provide an audible output to the voice-assistant app, the audible output configured to cause the voice assistant device to announce or indicate a confirmation that the child event data has been recorded.
10 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein the computing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors of the server to:
send a request to confirm a name value of the one or more name values to the voice-assistant app, and receive a response corresponding to the name value, the response corresponding to an additional audible input of the user.
11 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein the computing instructions, when executed by the one or more processors, further cause the one or more processors of the server to:
render an enrollment graphical user interface (GUI) configured for display on a display screen of a user interface device, wherein the one or more name values corresponding to one or more children are received from the enrollment GUI.
12 . The voice-assistant system of claim 1 , wherein data or information of one or more of the audible input of a user, the one or more name values, or the child event data is provided to and displayed on a display screen communicatively coupled to at least one of the voice-assistant app or the server.
13 . A voice-assistant method for automating roster generation and tracking of child events, the voice-assistant method comprising:
receiving, by one or more processors, one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location; generating, by the one or more processors, a roster based on a count of the one or more name values, the roster comprising the one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location; receiving, by the one or more processors, a first child event data, wherein the first child event data is based on audible input of a user, the audible input received via a voice command interface of a voice-assistant application (app) as implemented on a voice assistance device; and updating, by the one or more processors, the roster based on the first child event data.
14 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 , wherein the child event data comprises an event date.
15 . The voice-assistant method of claim 14 , wherein the event date is an attendance or an absence.
16 . The voice-assistant method of claim 14 , wherein the event date is received from an attendance tracking component of the one or more processors.
17 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 , further comprising receiving, by the one or more processors, a second child event data, from the voice-assistant app, comprising information related to use of a childcare product, wherein the second child event data is based on the audible input of the user.
18 . The voice-assistant method of claim 17 , wherein the second child event data comprises a change event corresponding to a name value of the one or more name values, and wherein the childcare product is a diaper.
19 . The voice-assistant method of claim 17 , wherein receipt of the second child event data causes a child-specific tracked inventory of the childcare product of a child of the one or more children to be updated.
20 . The voice-assistant method of claim 19 further comprising:
initiating an order for provision of one or more additional childcare products.
21 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 further comprising:
providing an audible output to the voice-assistant app, the audible output configured to cause the voice assistant device announce or indicate a confirmation that the child event data has been recorded.
22 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 further comprising:
sending a request to confirm a name value of the one or more name values to the voice-assistant app, and
receiving a response corresponding to the name value, the response corresponding to an additional audible input of the user.
23 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 further comprising:
rendering an enrollment graphical user interface (GUI) configured for display on a display screen of a user interface device,
wherein the one or more name values corresponding to one or more children are received from the enrollment GUI.
24 . The voice-assistant method of claim 13 , wherein data or information of one or more of the audible input of a user, the one or more name values, or the child event data is provided to and displayed on a display screen communicatively coupled to at least one of the voice-assistant app or a server.
25 . A tangible, non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions for automating roster generation and tracking of child events, that when executed by one or more processors cause the one or more processors to:
receive one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location; generate a roster based on a count of the one or more name values, the roster comprising the one or more name values corresponding to one or more children of a childcare program associated with at least one physical childcare location; receive a first child event data, from the voice-assistant app, wherein the first child event data is based on the audible input of the user, and wherein the first child event data comprises an event date; update the roster based on the first child event data; and receive a second child event data, from the voice-assistant app, comprising information related to use of a childcare product of at least one product type, wherein the second child event data is based on the audible input of the user.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
