Abstract

The technologies described herein are generally directed toward communicating resource information to a local manager of a group of user equipment devices, for allocation of resources to the group. According to an embodiment, a system can comprise a processor and a memory that can store executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations. The operations can include selecting a first group of resources for a group of user equipment devices. The operations can further include communicating, to a first user equipment device of the group of the user equipment devices, first information corresponding to the first group of resources, the first user equipment device being a first local manager of the group, that communicates second information corresponding to a second group of resources, based on the first information, to respective other user equipment devices of the group, other than the first user equipment device.

Claims

         1 . A method, comprising:
facilitating, by first network equipment comprising a processor, receiving first information corresponding to a first group of resources from second network equipment, the first network equipment being local manager equipment of a group of network equipment; and based on the first information, facilitating, by the first network equipment, communicating, to other network equipment of the group of network equipment other than the first network equipment, second information corresponding to a second group of resources.

2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the second group of resources comprises resources that are individually assigned, by the local manager equipment based on the first information, to the other network equipment, and wherein the first group of resources was selected based on characteristics of the group of network equipment.

3 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
facilitating, by the first network equipment, communicating, to the second network equipment, a network traffic report corresponding to network traffic of the group of network equipment; and facilitating, by the first network equipment, receiving, from the second network equipment, third information corresponding to a third group of resources and comprising updated first information with the first information changed based on the network traffic report.

4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the network traffic report comprises an aggregation of respective buffer status reports of network equipment of the group of network equipment, and wherein the network traffic report is generated by the local manager equipment.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first group of resources and the second group of resources comprise time and frequency resources that facilitate sidelink communication, and wherein the group of network equipment employs the second group of resources for the sidelink communication, and wherein the group of network equipment comprises the first network equipment and the second network equipment.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein facilitating the communicating of the first information comprises facilitating communicating a limiting condition with the first information, and wherein the group of network equipment stop employs the first group of resources based on the limiting condition.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein facilitating the communicating of the first information to the first network equipment comprises facilitating communicating the first information and an indicator that the first group of resources is for use by the group of network equipment.

8 . The method of claim 7 , wherein facilitating the communicating of the first information comprises employing an existing physical downlink control channel between the second network equipment and the first network equipment for the communicating.

9 . First network equipment, comprising:
a processor; and a memory that stores executable instructions that, when executed by the processor, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
receiving an indication that second network equipment is a local manager of a group of network equipment comprising the first network equipment and the second network equipment, and
receiving first information corresponding to a first group of resources, from the local manager, wherein the local manager generated the first information based on second information, received from third network equipment, corresponding to a second group of resources.

10 . The first network equipment of claim 9 , wherein the first group of resources were individually assigned by the local manager to the first network equipment, and wherein the second group of resources is selected based on the network equipment of the group of network equipment.

11 . The first network equipment of claim 9 , wherein the operations further comprise:
generating a first network traffic report corresponding to network traffic information collected by the first network equipment; communicating third information corresponding to the first network traffic report to the second network equipment; and receiving fourth information corresponding to a third group of resources from the second network equipment, wherein the third group of resources was generated based on the first network traffic report.

12 . The first network equipment of claim 11 , wherein the second network equipment communicated the first network traffic report to the third network equipment, and wherein the third group of resources comprises an updated group of resources generated by the third network equipment based on the first network traffic report.

13 . The first network equipment of claim 12 , wherein the second network equipment received a second network traffic report from another network equipment of the group of network equipment other than the second network equipment, wherein the second network equipment communicated the first network traffic report aggregated with the second network traffic report to the third network equipment, and wherein the updated group of resources was generated based on the first network traffic report aggregated with the second network traffic report.

14 . The first network equipment of claim 13 , wherein the other network equipment communicated the second network traffic report to the second network equipment via a sidelink communication channel.

15 . The first network equipment of claim 12 , wherein the first network traffic report comprises a buffer status report corresponding to a buffer status of the first network equipment.

16 . A non-transitory machine-readable medium, comprising executable instructions that, when executed by a processor of a first network device, facilitate performance of operations, comprising:
receiving first information corresponding to a first group of resources from a core network device associated with a core network, the network device being a local manager device of a group of network devices; based on network traffic information and the first information, generating second information corresponding to a second group of resources; and communicating via sidelink communication technology, the second information to a second network device of the group of network devices, based on the first information.
