Removable Bib Configured to Attach to a Shoulder Region of a User

Abstract

Novel tools and techniques are provided for implementing a bib, and, in particular embodiments, to methods, systems, and apparatuses for implementing a bib configured to attach to a shoulder region of a user. In various embodiments, a bib might include a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user; a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening; a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening; a first fastener attached to the first attachment end and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and a second fastener attached to the second attachment end and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A bib, comprising:
 a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user;   a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening;   a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening;   a first fastener attached to the first attachment end and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and   a second fastener attached to the second attachment end and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user.   
     
     
         2 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the body is formed from at least one of fabric, plastic, vinyl, or rubber. 
     
     
         3 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first button or a first buttonhole and the second fastener is a second button or a second buttonhole. 
     
     
         4 . The bib of  claim 3 , wherein the garment comprises a third button or a third buttonhole in the first shoulder region and a fourth button or fourth buttonhole in the second shoulder region, wherein, when the first fastener is the first button and the second fastener is the second button, the first button releasably attaches to the first shoulder region via the third buttonhole and the second button releasably attaches to the second shoulder region via the fourth buttonhole, and wherein, when the first fastener is the first buttonhole and the second fastener is the second buttonhole, the first buttonhole releasably attaches to the first shoulder region via the third button and the second buttonhole releasably attaches to the second shoulder region via the fourth button. 
     
     
         5 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first snap button or a first snap button base and the second fastener is a second snap button or a second snap button base. 
     
     
         6 . The bib of  claim 5 , wherein the garment comprises a third snap button or a third snap button base in the first shoulder region and a fourth snap button or a fourth snap button base in the second shoulder region, wherein, when the first fastener is the first snap button and the second fastener is the second snap button, the first snap button releasably attaches to the first shoulder region via the third snap button base and the second snap button releasably attaches to the second shoulder region via the fourth snap button base, and wherein, when the first fastener is the first snap button base and the second fastener is the second snap button base, the first snap button base releasably attaches to the first shoulder region via the third snap button and the second snap button base releasably attaches to the second shoulder region via the fourth snap button. 
     
     
         7 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is one or more first hooks or one or more first loops and the second fastener is one or more second hooks or one or more second loops. 
     
     
         8 . The bib of  claim 7 , wherein the garment comprises one or more third hooks or one or more third loops in the first shoulder region and one or more fourth hooks or one or more fourth loops in the second shoulder region, wherein, when the first fastener is the one or more first hooks and the second fastener is the one or more second hooks, the one or more first hooks releasably attach to the first shoulder region via the one or more third loops and the one or more second hooks releasably attach to the second shoulder region via the one or more fourth loops, and wherein, when the first fastener is the one or more first loops and the second fastener is the one or more second loops, the one or more first loops releasably attach to the first shoulder region via the one or more third hooks and the one or more second loops releasably attach to the second shoulder region via the one or more fourth hooks. 
     
     
         9 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first magnet and the second fastener is a second magnet. 
     
     
         10 . The bib of  claim 9 , wherein the garment comprises a third magnet or first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and a fourth magnet or second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first magnet releasably attaches to the third magnet or the first piece of magnetic metal in the first shoulder region and the second magnet releasably attaches to the fourth magnet or the second piece of magnetic metal in the second shoulder region. 
     
     
         11 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first piece of magnetic metal and the second fastener is a second piece of magnetic metal. 
     
     
         12 . The bib of  claim 11 , wherein the garment comprises a first magnet in the first shoulder region and a second magnet in the second shoulder region, and wherein the first piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the first magnet in the first shoulder region and the second piece of magnetic metal releasably attaches to the second magnet in the second shoulder region. 
     
     
         13 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener is a first clip and the second fastener is a second clip, wherein the first clip releasably clips onto and attaches to the first shoulder region of the garment and wherein the second clip releasably clips onto and attaches to the second shoulder region of the garment. 
     
     
         14 . The bib of  claim 13 , wherein a first end of the first clip is permanently attached to the first attachment end and wherein a second end of the second clip is permanently attached to the second attachment end. 
     
     
         15 . The bib of  claim 13 , wherein the first clip is a first double clip and the second clip is a second double clip, wherein a first end of the first double clip is releasably attached to the first attachment end and a second end of the first double clip is releasably attached to the first shoulder region of the garment and wherein a third end of the second double clip is releasably attached to the second attachment end and a fourth end of the second double clip is releasably attached to the second shoulder region of the garment. 
     
     
         16 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the first fastener comprises a first magnet or a first magnetic piece of metal removably attached to a first magnetic clip and the second fastener comprises a second magnet or a second magnetic piece of metal removably attached to a second magnetic clip, wherein the first magnetic clip clips onto and attaches to the first shoulder region of the garment and wherein the second magnetic clip clips onto and attaches to the second shoulder region of the garment. 
     
     
         17 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the garment comprises at least one of a baby garment, a child garment, an adult garment, a shirt, a dress, a onesie, a unitard, overalls, suspenders, a robe, or a hospital gown. 
     
     
         18 . The bib of  claim 1 , wherein the garment comprises one or more flaps configured to fold down and cover the first attachment end and the second attachment end. 
     
     
         19 . A bib kit, comprising:
 a bib comprising:
 a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user; 
 a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and 
 a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user; and 
   the garment, wherein the garment comprises a first attachment mechanism in the first shoulder region of the garment and a second attachment mechanism in the second shoulder region of the garment, wherein the first attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the first attachment end and hold the first attachment end of the bib in place and the second attachment mechanism is configured to attach to the second attachment end and hold the second attachment end of the bib in place on the garment.   
     
     
         20 . A bib kit, comprising:
 a bib comprising:
 a body comprising a partial opening configured to fit under a chin of a user; 
 a first attachment end connected to the body on a first side of the partial opening and configured to attach to a first shoulder region of a garment of the user; and 
 a second attachment end connected to the body on a second side opposite the first side of the partial opening and configured to attach to a second shoulder region opposite the first shoulder region of the garment of the user; 
   a first fastener configured to be attached to the first attachment end and configured to attach to the first shoulder region of the garment of the user; and   a second fastener configured to be attached to the second attachment end and configured to attach to the second shoulder region of the garment of the user.
