Abstract

An article of manufacture for providing a golf chipping and pitching training tool is disclosed. The article includes a circular golf landing mat, a center cut out for indicating a golf cup, a set of concentric circles centered about the center cut out, and a horizontal and vertical line across the golf landing mat dividing the golf landing mat into 4 quadrants.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An article of manufacture for providing a golf chipping and pitching training tool, the article comprises:
 a circular golf landing mat;   a center cut out for indicating a golf cup;   a set of concentric circles centered about the center cut out; and   a horizontal and vertical line across the golf landing mat dividing the golf landing mat into 4 quadrants.   
     
     
         2 . The article of manufacturer according to  claim 1 , wherein the circular golf landing mat has a diameter comprising 4.5 feet, 8.5 feet and 13 feet. 
     
     
         3 . The article of manufacturer according to  claim 1 , wherein the set of concentric circles comprises 3 rings having increasing diameters. 
     
     
         4 . The article of manufacturer according to  claim 3 , wherein the set of concentric circles have a diameter of 2, 4, and 6 feet. 
     
     
         5 . The article of manufacturer according to  claim 1 , wherein the center cut out has a raised lip. 
     
     
         6 . The article of manufacturer according to  claim 1 , wherein the circular golf landing mat is made of synthetic grass like mat that replicates the putting green on a golf course.
