Abstract
Systems and methods for transmission detection, interruption, and notification are described.

21 . A computerized method, comprising the steps of:
receiving emitted radiation or a radio frequency (RF) signal from a cellular device at a detector, wherein the emitted radiation or the RF signal correspond to a cellular transmission from the cellular device; determining a distance of the cellular device from the detector using the emitted radiation or the RF signal; determining a pattern of a set of interferences in the emitted radiation or the RF signal, wherein each interference in the set of interferences is created by the user entry into the cellular device; and correlating the pattern with a category of activity to determine a type of cellular transmission; wherein the receiving emitted radiation or a radio frequency (RF) signal, determining a distance, determining a pattern, and correlating the pattern are performed using at least one processor coupled to a memory.
22 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the detector is an antenna.
23 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the cellular transmission is a text message.
24 . The method of claim 21 , wherein determining the distance is based on at least one of the strength of the emitted radiation or the RF signal and characteristics of the cellular device.
25 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the determining a pattern of a set of interferences comprises detecting one or more interferences, wherein the one or more interferences is a distortion in the emitted radiation or the RF signal.
26 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the correlating comprises comparing the pattern against patterns for specific types of cellular transmissions.
27 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising interrupting transmission of the cellular transmission using the distance.
28 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising notifying a third party of the cellular transmission.
29 . The method of claim 21 , wherein the detector and cellular device are within a vehicle.
30 . The method of claim 21 , further comprising isolating and targeting a frequency of the RF of the cellular transmission, allowing for a user to perform hands-free voice communication using a bluetooth frequency.
31 . A computerized method, comprising the steps of:
receiving emitted radiation or a radio frequency (RF) signal from a cellular device at a detector, wherein the emitted radiation or the RF signal correspond to a cellular transmission from the cellular device; determining a distance of the cellular device from the detector using the emitted radiation or the RF signal, wherein determining the distance is based on the strength of the emitted radiation or the RF signal; determining a pattern of a set of interferences in the emitted radiation or the RF signal, wherein each interference in the set of interferences is created by the user entry into the cellular device; and correlating the pattern with a category of activity to determine a type of cellular transmission; wherein the receiving emitted radiation or a radio frequency (RF) signal, determining a distance, determining a pattern, and correlating the pattern are performed using at least one processor coupled to a memory.
32 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising interrupting transmission of the cellular transmission using the distance.
33 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising notifying a third party of the cellular transmission.
34 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the determining a pattern of a set of interferences comprises detecting one or more interferences, wherein the one or more interferences is a distortion in the emitted radiation or the RF signal.
35 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the correlating comprises comparing the pattern against patterns for specific types of cellular transmissions.
36 . The method of claim 31 , wherein the detector and cellular device are within a vehicle.
37 . The method of claim 31 , further comprising isolating and targeting a frequency of the RF of the cellular transmission, allowing for a user to perform hands-free voice communication using a bluetooth frequency.
38 . A computerized method, comprising the steps of:
analyzing a cellular device at a detector; determining a distance of the cellular device from the detector based on one or more emissions related to the cellular device; determining a pattern of interferences at the cellular device based on one or more user entries into the cellular device; and correlating the pattern with a category of activity to determine a type of cellular transmission; wherein the analyzing, determining a distance, determining a pattern, and correlating the pattern are performed using at least one processor coupled to a memory.
39 . The method of claim 38 , wherein determining the distance is based on the strength of the one or more emission related to the cellular device.
