Abstract

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for managing movement states of an electronic device are provided that may leverage pass data from a pass application when determining a current or future movement state of an electronic device.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A method, comprising:
storing, by a first electronic device, a pass within an application operating on the first electronic device, the application configured to store at least one or more passes; presenting, by the first electronic device, first information indicative of the pass to a second electronic device via wireless communication, the first information indicative of the pass to be utilized by the second electronic device to redeem the pass; and receiving, by the first electronic device, second information from the second electronic device, the second information comprising data indicative of the pass being redeemed for access to a location.

2 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising updating, by the first electronic device, the pass based at least in part on the second information received from the second electronic device.

3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the application comprises a digital wallet application, and wherein the digital wallet application is further configured to store one or more mobile payment cards.

4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the pass is stored encrypted within a secure element.

5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the wireless communication comprises a contactless proximity-based communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device.

6 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
detecting, by the first electronic device, a selection of an icon presented on a display of the first electronic device, the icon associated with the pass; and presenting, by the first electronic device, the application for interaction with the pass in response to detecting the selection of the icon.

7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the location comprises an event space.

8 . One or more computer-readable media having instructions stored thereon, wherein the instructions, when executed by a first electronic device, cause the first electronic device to:
store a pass within an application operating on the first electronic device, the application configured to store at least one or more passes; present first information indicative of the pass to a second electronic device via wireless communication, the first information indicative of the pass to be utilized by the second electronic device to redeem the pass; and receive second information from the second electronic device, the second information comprising data indicative of the pass being redeemed for access to a location.

9 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the first electronic device, further causes the first electronic device to update the pass based at least in part on the second information received from the second electronic device.

10 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the application comprises a digital wallet application, and wherein the digital wallet application is further configured to store one or more mobile payment cards.

11 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein to store the pass includes to store the pass encrypted within a secure element.

12 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the wireless communication comprises a contactless proximity-based communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device.

13 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the instructions, when executed by the first electronic device, further cause the first electronic device to:
detect a selection of an icon presented on a display of the first electronic device, the icon associated with the pass; and present the application for interaction with the pass in response in detection of the selection of the icon.

14 . The one or more computer-readable media of claim 8 , wherein the location comprises an event space.

         15 . A first electronic device, comprising:
memory to store an application; and a processor coupled to the memory, the processor configured to:
 store a pass within the application of the first electronic device, the application configured to store one or more passes;
present first information indicative of the pass to a second electronic device via wireless communication, the first information indicative of the pass to be utilized by the second electronic device to redeem the pass; and
receive second information from the second electronic device, the second information comprising data indicative of the pass being redeemed for access to a location.

16 . The first electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the processor is further configured to update the pass based at least in part on the second information received from the second electronic device.

17 . The first electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the application comprises a digital wallet application, and wherein the digital wallet application is further configured to store one or more mobile payment cards.

18 . The first electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the wireless communication comprises a contactless proximity-based communication between the first electronic device and the second electronic device.

19 . The first electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the processor is further configured to:
detect a selection of an icon presented on a display of the first electronic device, the icon associated with the pass; and present the application for interaction with the pass in response to detection of the selection of the icon.

20 . The first electronic device of claim 15 , wherein the location comprises an event space.
