4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein:
associating the tag with the item depicted by the video comprises associating a link to the website or to the second social networking feed with the item depicted by the video; and causing the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed comprises directing the client device to an Internet site associated with the link.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the video comprising the dynamic visual cue comprises providing the video with the animation effect animating the item.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the video comprising the dynamic visual cue comprises providing the video comprising an image that flashes or pulses to indicate the item.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the video comprising the dynamic visual cue comprises providing the video with the animation effect enlarging the item.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein providing the video comprising the dynamic visual cue for the tag comprises providing a portion of the video comprising the dynamic visual cue for the tag.
9 . The method of claim 1 , wherein causing the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed comprises causing the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed comprising the item for purchase.
10 . A non-transitory computer readable medium storing instructions thereon that, when executed by at least one processor, cause a computing device to:
associate a tag with an item depicted by a video; post the video to a first social networking feed; provide, for display on a client device for a user of a social networking system, the video comprising a dynamic visual cue for the tag with an animation effect; and in response to an indication of an interaction by the user with one or more images of the video comprising the tag, cause the client device to display a website or a second social networking feed comprising an image depicting the item.
11 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to:
detect the item within one or more images of the video utilizing computer vision; and associate the tag with the item based on detecting the item.
12 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to associate the tag with the item depicted by the video by receiving, from an additional client device of an additional user of the social networking system, the tag identifying the item within images of the video.
13 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to:
associate the tag with the item depicted by the video comprises associating a link to the website or to the second social networking feed with the item depicted by the video; and cause the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed comprises directing the client device to an Internet site associated with the link.
14 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to provide the video comprising the dynamic visual cue by providing the video with the animation effect animating the item.
15 . The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 10 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the computing device to provide the video comprising the dynamic visual cue by providing the video comprising an image that flashes or pulses to indicate the item.
16 . A system comprising:
at least one processor; and at least one non-transitory computer readable storage medium storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to:
associate a tag with an item depicted by a video;
post the video to a first social networking feed;
provide, for display on a client device for a user of a social networking system, the video comprising a dynamic visual cue for the tag with an animation effect; and
in response to an indication of an interaction by the user with one or more images of the video comprising the tag, cause the client device to display a website or a second social networking feed comprising an image depicting the item.
17 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to associate the tag with the item depicted by the video by receiving, from an additional client device of an additional user of the social networking system, the tag identifying the item within images of the video.
18 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide the video comprising the dynamic visual cue by providing the video with the animation effect enlarging the item.
19 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to provide the video comprising the dynamic visual cue for the tag by providing a portion of the video comprising the dynamic visual cue for the tag.
20 . The system of claim 16 , further comprising instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the system to cause the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed by causing the client device to display the website or the second social networking feed comprising the item for purchase.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
