Hair catcher

Abstract

A hair catcher is taught which catches hair from haircut or waste from a hair washing. The hair catcher includes a hair catching cape, which is made up of a front chest section, a back section, a head opening positioned between the front chest section and the back section, a front hair bin wall attached to the front chest section, and rear hair bin wall in communication with the back section. There is also an adjustable collar, that fits around the wearer's neck, with attached cover(s) that are sized and shaped to cover the space between the wearer's neck and the head opening. The front hair bin wall may be disconnected from the rear hair bin wall near the shoulders to allow for a pivot point to adjust the hair catcher to fit various body sizes.

1 ) A hair catcher, comprising:
 a) A hair catching cape, said cape comprising:
 1) A front chest section; 
 2) A back section; 
 3) A head opening positioned between said front chest section and said back section; 
 4) A front hair bin wall in communication with said front chest section; and 
 5) A rear hair bin wall in communication with said back section; and 
   b) a collar in communication with said cape.   
     
     
         2 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , said collar comprising:
 a) An inner collar; and   b) An outer collar in communication with said inner collar.   
     
     
         3 ) The hair catcher of  claim 2 , wherein said outer collar is attached to said back section of said cape. 
     
     
         4 ) The hair catcher of  claim 3 , wherein said outer collar is attached to said front section of said cape. 
     
     
         5 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , further comprising an adjustable collar attached to the back section of the head opening of said cape, said collar open in the front. 
     
     
         6 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein said collar further comprises collar closing devices to close said collar, said collar closing devices selected from the group consisting of snaps, hook and loop, straps, magnets, and buttons. 
     
     
         7 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein each of said inner collar, said outer collar said front chest section and said back section are made of a material selected from the group consisting of fabric and plastic. 
     
     
         8 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein said front hair bin wall and said rear hair bin wall comprise a semi-rigid foam covered by a material selected from the group consisting of fabric and plastic. 
     
     
         9 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein said front hair bin wall and said rear hair bin wall has the ability to be folded for storage. 
     
     
         10 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein said front hair bin wall and said rear hair bin wall are held in form using a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, metal, cord, and other structural components. 
     
     
         11 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein said front chest section of said cape and back section of said cape are integral and comprise of one piece of fabric or plastic. 
     
     
         12 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein the side wall of said rear hair bin wall is detached and overlaps with the side wall of said front hair bin wall allowing said front bin wall or said rear bin wall to pivot to fit different body sizes while maintaining a bin wall wall along the shoulders to catch hair. 
     
     
         13 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , further comprising at least two shoulder straps, each of said shoulder straps positioned between an underside of said rear section of said cape and an underside of said front section of said cape, each of said shoulder straps positioned on opposite sides of said head opening. 
     
     
         14 ) The hair catcher of  claim 1 , wherein the hair catcher comprises waterproof material.
