Abstract

Disclosed herein is a system to facilitate counting and displaying of an ammunition count of a magazine of a firearm. Further, the system may include a sensory device configured to generate a sensory data related to a movement of ammunition in the magazine. Further, the system may include a processing device communicatively connected with the sensory device configured for analyzing the sensory data to generate an ammunition data. Further, the ammunition data may include a number of ammunition rounds in the magazine. Further, the system may include a presentation device communicatively connected with the processing device configured for displaying the ammunition data. Further, the system may include a storage device configured for storing the ammunition data.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system to facilitate counting and displaying of an ammunition count of a magazine of a firearm as well as fire selector position, the system comprising: multiple sensory devices corresponding to the position of each round within the magazine configured to generate a sensory data related to a movement of ammunition in the magazine; a sensory device configured to generate a sensory data related to the position of the fire selector position; a processing device communicatively connected with the sensory devices of the magazine configured for analyzing the sensory data to generate an ammunition data, wherein the ammunition data comprises a number of ammunition rounds in the magazine, and the fire selector data comprises of the rate of fire for the fire selector position; a presentation device communicatively connected with the processing device configured for presenting the ammunition and fire selector data; and a storage device configured for storing the ammunition and fire selector data.

2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein multiple sensory devices correspond to the position of each round of ammunition in the magazine, as well as a separate sensory device to detect fire selector position, wherein the magazine sensory data relates to position of ammunition rounds in the magazine.

3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the magazine sensory data relates to the maximum number of possible rounds to be used within the magazine, subtracted by the number of rounds missing from the magazine.

4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the processing device is configured for analyzing the sensory data for generating an ammunition usage data comprising a usage of one or more rounds of ammunition.

5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the magazine sensory devices comprise of a location sensor for each corresponding round's magazine placement, wherein the sensory data comprises a location data for each round missing within the magazine, wherein the processing device is further configured for generating the ammunition usage data based on the sensory data generated for each round missing within the magazine, wherein the storage device is configured for storing the ammunition usage data along with the location data.

6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the processing device is configured for updating the ammunition data based on the sensory data, wherein the presentation device is configured for presenting the ammunition data and fire selector data based on the updating.

7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the presentation device comprises any display device configured to display the ammunition and fire selector data. This display device may be integrated into the firearm, attached to the firearm integrated in the scope if a scope is used, and so on.

8 . A magazine of a firearm configured for counting and displaying of an ammunition count of the magazine, the magazine comprising: multiple individual sensory devices corresponding to the position of each individual round of ammunition configured to generate a sensory data related to the movement of each round in the magazine; a processing device communicatively connected with the sensory device configured for analyzing the sensory data to generate an ammunition data, wherein the ammunition data comprises a number of ammunition rounds in the magazine; a presentation device communicatively connected with the processing device configured for presenting the ammunition data; and a storage device configured for storing the ammunition data.

9 . The magazine of claim 8 , wherein the sensory devices are positioned at each round's position within the magazine, wherein the sensory data relates to the initial count of rounds (total number of sensory components) in the magazine, and the removal of one or more ammunition rounds from the magazine.

10 . The magazine of claim 8 , wherein the magazine is configured for feeding the ammunition to at least one of a shotgun, a sniper or assault or hunting rifle, a pistol, a machine gun, submachine gun, minigun, turret gun, rotationally fed or magazine fed grenade launchers, rocket launchers, etc.

11 . The magazine of claim 8 , wherein the processing device is configured for analyzing the sensory data for generating an ammunition usage data comprising a usage of one or more rounds of ammunition.

12 . The magazine of claim 11 , wherein the sensory devices comprise of a location sensor corresponding to the location of each unfired round of ammunition within the magazine, wherein the sensory data comprises a location data, wherein the processing device is further configured for generating the ammunition usage data based on the location data, wherein the storage device is configured for storing the ammunition usage data along with the location data.

13 . The magazine of claim 8 , wherein the processing device is configured for updating the ammunition data based on the sensory data, wherein the presentation device is configured for presenting the ammunition data based on the updating.

14 . The magazine of claim 8 , wherein the presentation device comprises a digital display device configured to display the ammunition data.
