Abstract

A trigger cover for a firearm comprising an enclosure defining a space configured to receive a trigger guard. The enclosure has side panels configured to prevent operational access to the trigger, and an aperture configured to receive an elongated strap. The strap is received in the aperture and is configured to secure the enclosure to the firearm. The strap is resistant to toolless removal, and readily severable with a tool to enable removal of the enclosure.

         1 . A trigger cover for a firearm comprising:
 an enclosure defining a space configured to receive a trigger guard;   the enclosure having side panels configured to prevent operational access to the trigger;   an aperture configured to receive an elongated strap;   a strap received in the aperture and configured to secure the enclosure to the firearm; and   the strap being resistant to toolless removal, and readily severable with a tool to enable removal of the enclosure.
