System and method for advertising
Abstract
A system and method for advertising are disclosed. In an aspect, a method comprises rendering a content to a plurality of users, the content having a time duration, rendering a first selectable element associated with the content to a first one of the plurality of users at a first time during the time duration of the rendered content, and rendering a second selectable element associated with the content to a second one of the plurality of users at a second time during the time duration of the rendered content, wherein the second time is different from the first time and the first selectable element is not rendered to the first one of the plurality of users while the second selectable element is rendered to the second one of the plurality of users.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A method comprising:
determining a first portion of a plurality of user devices; determining a second portion of the plurality of user devices; sending, at a first time, an interactive advertisement to the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and sending, at a second time, the interactive advertisement to the second portion of the plurality of user devices.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first time and the second time are different, and wherein the interactive advertisement is associated with a particular merchant.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices and the second portion of the plurality of user devices each comprise one or more user devices.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the interactive advertisement comprises a selectable element configured to cause initiation of a communication session.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the communication session comprises a two-way communication session initiated over an internet protocol communication path.
6 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the communication session is established using one or more of Voice Over IP (VoIP), Short Message Service (SMS), or chat.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a first geographical region and the second portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a second geographical region.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, based on the interactive advertisement, a first request from a user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the first request, initiating a first communication session with the user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising:
receiving, based on the interactive advertisement, a second request from a user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the second request, initiating a second communication session with the user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices.
10 . A system comprising:
a network device configured to:
determine a first portion of a plurality of user devices; and
determine a second portion of the plurality of user devices;
a computing device configured to:
send, at a first time, an interactive advertisement to the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and
send, at a second time, the interactive advertisement to the second portion of the plurality of user devices;
the first portion of the plurality of user devices configured to:
receive the interactive advertisement at the first time; and
the second portion of the plurality of user devices configured to:
receive the interactive advertisement at the second time.
11 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the first time and the second time are different, and wherein the interactive advertisement is associated with a particular merchant.
12 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices and the second portion of the plurality of user devices each comprise one or more user devices.
13 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the interactive advertisement comprises a selectable element configured to cause initiation of a communication session.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the communication session comprises a two-way communication session initiated over an internet protocol communication path.
15 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the communication session is established using one or more of Voice Over IP (VoIP), Short Message Service (SMS), or chat.
16 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a first geographical region and the second portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a second geographical region.
17 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the computing device is further configured to:
receive, based on the interactive advertisement, a first request from a user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the first request, initiate a first communication session with the user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices.
18 . The system of claim 10 , wherein the computing device is further configured to:
receive, based on the interactive advertisement, a second request from a user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the second request, initiate a second communication session with the user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices.
19 . One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing processor-executable instructions that, when executed by at least one processor, cause the at least one processor to:
determine a first portion of a plurality of user devices; determine a second portion of the plurality of user devices; send, at a first time, an interactive advertisement to the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and send, at a second time, the interactive advertisement to the second portion of the plurality of user devices.
20 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the first time and the second time are different, and wherein the interactive advertisement is associated with a particular merchant.
21 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices and the second portion of the plurality of user devices each comprise one or more user devices.
22 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the interactive advertisement comprises a selectable element configured to cause initiation of a communication session.
23 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 22 , wherein the communication session comprises a two-way communication session initiated over an internet protocol communication path.
24 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 22 , wherein the communication session is established using one or more Voice Over IP (VoIP), Short Message Service (SMS), or chat.
25 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the first portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a first geographical region and the second portion of the plurality of user devices is associated with a second geographical region.
26 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the processor-executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processor to:
receive, based on the interactive advertisement, a first request from a user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the first request, initiate a first communication session with the user device of the first portion of the plurality of user devices.
27 . The one or more non-transitory computer readable media of claim 19 , wherein the processor-executable instructions, when executed by the at least one processor, further cause the at least one processor to:
receive, based on the interactive advertisement, a second request from a user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices; and based on the second request, initiate a second communication session with the user device of the second portion of the plurality of user devices.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
