Abstract
The present disclosure is related to a table game monitoring system to enable stoppage of an ongoing game when something unexpected happens by administrating the whole game from the start to the end of the game and during payoffs. A card game monitoring system includes a game table with betting areas for betters to put wagers, a card shooter apparatus configured to read and record the number (rank) and suit of cards. A control unit is configured to determine a winning hand according to table game rules based on information of the cards read by the card shooter apparatus. A video camera system is configured to capture positions of cards and identify wagers on each betting area at the game table. The control unit is further configured to check whether wagers with payoff move to a pool of the winner of the bettors determined by the card shooter apparatus.

a game table including a betting area configured to receive a wager of a better; a video camera configured to capture one or more images of the game table; and a control unit configured to analyze the one or more images to:
determine a chip put as the wager on the game table; and
determine a progress of the game based on a movement of a dealer's hand.
2 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the movement of the dealer's hand representing an end of betting.
3 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the movement of the dealer's hand delivering cards.
4 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 3 , wherein the control unit is further configured to identify a start of the card game based on a determination of the movement of the dealer's hand delivering cards.
5 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 1 , wherein, before each game is started, the control unit is configured to determine that betting is to be started based on the determination of the chip.
6 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 1 , wherein the control unit is configured to check, based on the determination of the chip, whether the wager moves from an original betting position to another area after the card game is started and before the card game ends.
7 . The card game monitoring system according to claim 6 , wherein the control unit is further configured to determine the end of the card game according to a card game rule.
