Abstract

A method of computerized monitoring of investment trading includes providing historic trading data for a specific trader, selecting a plurality of trading parameters for the specific trader and obtaining current information regarding the selected parameters, and/or providing historic trading data and applying rules to the current information and/or historic trading data to determine if a rules violation has occurred. The system may be employed to monitor whether market timing of mutual fund investments has occurred. A corresponding computerized system is disclosed.

1 . A computerized system comprising:
 at least one computer having a computer tangible readable medium having stored thereon software instructions executable by a processor of the computer, comprising:   code to provide at least one rule to determine at least one violation of the at least one rule, wherein the at least one violation is capable of having at least one a negative effect;   code to process, obtained data to identify current data for the at least one first specific user;   code to obtain historic data for at least one first specific user;   code to determine at least one first violation in at least one activity of the at least one first specific user, based at least in part on:   comparing at least first portion of the identified current data for the at least one first specific user, at least second portion of the obtained historic data for the at least one first specific user, or any combination thereof, with the at least one rule having a timing condition; and   code to output the determined at least one first violation of the at least one rule.   
     
     
         2 . The computerized system of  claim 1 , further comprising code to compare both the at least first portion of the identified current data for the at least one first specific user and the at least second portion of the obtained historic data for the at least one first specific user with the at least one rule.
