Realtime, Interactive and Geographically Defined Computerized Personal Identification and Matching Methods
Abstract
In general, the invention relates to a method of interactive and live computerized matching in which a first user has a personal data device including a wireless communication system. A network is configured to include a server programmed with a personal characteristic database and a database searching algorithm, and a wireless communication system that is capable of communicating with the user's personal data device. The first user is allowed to log on through the wireless communication system to the network using his or her personal data device, and communicates to and stores in the database personal data defining his or her characteristics and those for his or her ideal match. Either the secure network automatically identifies the first users precise geographic location, or the user himself otherwise indicates and stores in the database of the network an identifying address that indicates his current specific geographic location. The user then instructs the database searching algorithm to search for and identify other users on to the network near the same geographic location to facilitate a match.

18 . A method of facilitating matching of a Group A user having a first wireless device with a Group B user having a second wireless device, implemented by a geographic-location-based matching system including at least one server with at least one network interface and a memory, comprising the matching system:
a. storing within the memory, profile information of the Group A user including at least a Group A designation of the Group A user and profile information of the Group B user including at least a Group B designation of the Group B user; b. receiving, from the first wireless device via a network interface of the matching system, a physical geographic location of the first wireless device obtained using a geographic location sensor of the first wireless device; c. receiving, from the second wireless device via a network interface of the matching system, a physical geographic location of the second wireless device obtained using a geographic location sensor of the second wireless device; d. based at least in part on the received physical geographic locations of the first wireless device and second wireless device:
i. providing to the second wireless device via a network interface of the matching system a representation of a user profile associated with the Group A user;
ii. providing to the first wireless device via a network interface of the matching system a representation of a user profile associated with the Group B user;
e. subsequent to d., receiving, from the first wireless device via a network interface of the matching system, an indication that the Group A user desires to electronically communicate with the Group B user, wherein (i) the Group B user, based on the Group B designation, is not allowed to send a first message of an electronic conversation to the Group A user, and (ii) the Group A user, based on the Group A designation, is allowed to send the first message of the electronic conversation to the Group B user; f. receiving, from the first wireless device, text characters for the first message of the electronic conversation; g. transmitting to the second wireless device via a matching system network interface the first message of the electronic conversation including the text characters; and h. upon transmitting the first message, enabling the second wireless device to respond to the first message of the electronic conversation.
19 . The method of claim 18 , wherein step d. is also based at least in part on characteristics of the user profile associated with the Group B user and match preferences of the user profile associated with the Group A user.
20 .
