Abstract

A nail cleaning device for cleaning and sanitizing under nails includes a rod, which has a chamber, a channel, and a set of holes positioned therein. The holes are positioned proximate to a first end of the rod. The channel extends from the chamber to the set of holes so that the holes are in fluidic communication with the chamber. A liquid positioned is the chamber and is positioned to flow through the channel and the holes. A plurality of bristles is engaged to and extends from the rod proximate to the first end. The rod can be grasped in a hand of a user, positioning the user to manipulate the bristles under a nail of a finger or a toe to dislodge debris therefrom. The liquid flows onto the nail to flush the debris therefrom.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
I claim:

         1 . A nail cleaning device comprising:
a rod, the rod having a chamber, a channel, and a set of holes positioned therein, the holes being positioned proximate to a first end of the rod, the channel extending from the chamber to the set of holes such that the holes are in fluidic communication with the chamber; a liquid positioned is the chamber such that the liquid is positioned for flowing through the channel and the holes; and a plurality of bristles engaged to and extending from the rod proximate to the first end, wherein the rod is configured for grasping in a hand of a user, positioning the user for manipulating the bristles under a nail of a finger or a toe for dislodging debris therefrom, wherein the liquid is configured for flowing onto the nail for flushing the debris therefrom.

2 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , wherein the set of holes comprises two holes.

3 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , wherein the liquid comprises alcohol.

4 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , further including:
the rod being bendable; and a shell lining the chamber and containing the liquid, the shell being frangible wherein the shell is configured for being broken upon bending of the rod such that the liquid flows from the chamber through the channel and the holes.

5 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , further including an implement engaged to a second end of the rod and being configured for scraping under a nail.

6 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , wherein the implement comprises a spade or a prong, the spade being rigid, the prong being resiliently bendable.

7 . The nail cleaning device of claim 6 , wherein the spade comprises plastic.

8 . The nail cleaning device of claim 6 , wherein the prong comprises elastomer, rubber, or silicone.

9 . The nail cleaning device of claim 1 , wherein the chamber is substantially centrally positioned within the rod.

         10 . A nail cleaning device comprising:
a rod, the rod having a chamber, a channel, and a set of holes positioned therein, the holes being positioned proximate to a first end of the rod, the chamber being substantially centrally positioned within the rod, the channel extending from the chamber to the set of holes such that the holes are in fluidic communication with the chamber, the set of holes comprising two holes, the rod being bendable; a liquid positioned is the chamber such that the liquid is positioned for flowing through the channel and the holes, the liquid comprising alcohol; a shell lining the chamber and containing the liquid, the shell being frangible wherein the shell is configured for being broken upon bending of the rod such that the liquid flows from the chamber through the channel and the holes; a plurality of bristles engaged to and extending from the rod proximate to the first end, wherein the rod is configured for grasping in a hand of a user, positioning the user for manipulating the bristles under a nail of a finger or a toe for dislodging debris therefrom, wherein the liquid is configured for flowing onto the nail for flushing the debris therefrom; and an implement engaged to a second end of the rod and being configured for scraping under a nail, the implement comprising a spade or a prong, the spade being rigid, the spade comprising plastic, the prong being resiliently bendable, the prong comprising elastomer, rubber, or silicone.
