Abstract

Disclosed is a master electronic device configured to control capture of content using one or more client electronic devices. The master electronic device may include a user interface module configured to receive an indication of a control-input. Further, the master electronic device may include a communication module configured to communicate data between the master electronic device and one or more client electronic devices. The communication may include wireless transmission of the control-input to the one or more client electronic devices. Additionally, the one or more client electronic devices may include a means to capture content in response to the control-input. The means to capture content may be activated in response to the received control-input.

The folowing is claimed: 
     
         1 . A master electronic device configured to control capture of content using at least one client electronic device, the master electronic device comprising:
 a user interface module configured to receive an indication of a control-input; and   a communication module configured to communicate data between the master electronic device and at least one client electronic device, wherein the communication comprises wireless transmission of the control-input to the at least one client electronic device, wherein the at least one client electronic device comprises a means configured to capture content in response to the control-input.   
     
     
         2 . The master electronic device of  claim 1  further comprising a means to capture content in response to the control-input, wherein the means to capture content is activated in response to the received control-input. 
     
     
         3 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the control-input comprises a time value. 
     
     
         4 . The master electronic device of  claim 3 , wherein the time value corresponds to at least one of initiation of capture of the content, pausation of capture of the content and termination of capture of the content. 
     
     
         5 . The master electronic device of  claim 3 , wherein a client timing module comprised in the at least one client electronic device is configured to be synchronized with a master timing module comprised in the master electronic device, wherein the synchronization is based on the time value. 
     
     
         6 . The master electronic device of  claim 3 , wherein the control-input comprises indication of at least one operation, wherein the at least one client electronic device is configured to perform the at least one operation at a time indicated in the time value. 
     
     
         7 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein each of the master electronic device and the at least one client electronic device is configured to capture content synchronously in response to the control-input. 
     
     
         8 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the communication further comprises wireless reception of the content captured by the at least one client electronic device. 
     
     
         9 . The master electronic device of  claim 8 , wherein the wireless reception is over at least one of a common local-area-network connection, a Wi-Fi connection, and a Bluetooth connection. 
     
     
         10 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the communication further comprises wireless transmission of the content captured by the master electronic device. 
     
     
         11 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein the user interface module is further configured to receive an invite input, wherein the communication further comprises wireless transmission of an invitation to the at least one client electronic device based on the invite input, wherein the at least one client electronic device is configured to receive an accept-invite input. 
     
     
         12 . The master electronic device of  claim 1 , wherein each of the master electronic device and the at least one client electronic device comprises at least one of a sound capturing unit and an image capturing unit, wherein the content corresponds to at least one of a sound and an image. 
     
     
         13 . A client electronic device configured to control capture of content, the client electronic device comprising:
 a communication module configured to communicate data between the client electronic device and a master electronic device, wherein the communication comprises wireless reception of a control-input; and   a means to capture content in response to the control-input, wherein the means to capture content is activated in response to the received control-input.   
     
     
         14 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the control-input comprises a time value. 
     
     
         15 . The client electronic device of  claim 14 , wherein the time value corresponds to at least one of initiation of capture of the content, pausation of capture of the content and termination of capture of the content.

The client electronic device of  claim 14 , wherein a client timing module comprised in the client electronic device is configured to be synchronized with a master timing module comprised in the master electronic device, wherein the synchronization is based on the time value. 
     
     
         17 . The client electronic device of  claim 14 , wherein the control-input comprises indication of at least one operation, wherein the client electronic device is configured to perform the at least one operation at a time indicated in the time value. 
     
     
         18 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein each of the client electronic device and the master electronic device is configured to capture content synchronously in response to the control-input. 
     
     
         19 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the communication further comprises wireless transmission of the content captured by the client electronic device. 
     
     
         20 . The client electronic device of  claim 19 , wherein the wireless transmission is over at least one of a common local-area-network connection, a Wi-Fi connection, and a Bluetooth connection. 
     
     
         21 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the communication further comprises wireless reception of the content captured by the master electronic device. 
     
     
         22 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein the communication further comprises wireless reception of an invitation to the client electronic device from the master electronic device, the client electronic device further comprising a user interface module configured to receive an accept-invite input, wherein the client electronic device is configured to capture content based on reception of the accept-invite input. 
     
     
         23 . The client electronic device of  claim 13 , wherein each of the master electronic device and the client electronic device comprises at least one of a sound capturing unit and an image capturing unit, wherein the content corresponds to at least one of a sound and an image. 
     
     
         24 . A method of controlling capture of content using at least one client electronic device, the method comprising:
 receiving an indication of a control-input at a master electronic device; and   communicating data between the master electronic device and at least one client electronic device, wherein the communicating comprises wirelessly transmitting the control-input to the at least one client electronic device, wherein the at least one client electronic device comprises a means configured for capturing content in response to the control-input.   
     
     
         25 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the master electronic device further comprises a means for capturing content, the method further comprising capturing content, by the master electronic device, in response to the control-input. 
     
     
         26 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the control-input comprises a time value. 
     
     
         27 . The method of  claim 26 , wherein the time value corresponds to at least one of initiating capture of the content, pausing capture of the content and terminating capture of the content. 
     
     
         28 . The method of  claim 26  further comprising synchronizing a client timing module comprised in the at least one client electronic device with a master timing module comprised in the master electronic device, wherein the synchronization is based on the time value. 
     
     
         29 . The method of  claim 26 , wherein the control-input comprises indication of at least one operation, wherein the at least one client electronic device is configured to perform the at least one operation at a time indicated in the time value. 
     
     
         30 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein capturing content in response to the control-input comprises synchronously capturing content by each of the master electronic device and the at least one client electronic device. 
     
     
         31 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the communication further comprises wirelessly receiving the content captured by the at least one client electronic device. 
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 31 , wherein the wireless reception is over at least one of a common local-area-network connection, a Wi-Fi connection, and a Bluetooth connection. 
     
     
         33 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the communication further comprises wirelessly transmitting the content captured by the master electronic device. 
     
     
         34 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein the user interface module is further configured to receive an invite input, wherein the communication further comprises wireless transmission of an invitation to the at least one client electronic device based on the invite input, wherein the at least one client electronic device is configured to receive an accept-invite input. 
     
     
         35 . The method of  claim 24 , wherein each of the master electronic device and the at least one client electronic device comprises at least one of a sound capturing unit and an image capturing unit, wherein the content corresponds to at least one of a sound and an image.
