Apparel with male genitalia support

Abstract

An apparel is provided that includes a body and a cradle. The body includes a front side, a rear side, a bottom, a top, an inner surface, and an outer surface. The bottom of the body defines a pair of leg openings. The top of the body has a waistband. The inner surface of the body defines an inside of the body. The cradle includes a looped band. The looped band is coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side such that the cradle is entirely on the inside of the body. The looped band is configured to hold and a support a penis therein.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparel comprising:
 a body comprising a front side, a rear side, a bottom, a top, an inner surface, and an outer surface, wherein the bottom defines a pair of leg openings, the top comprises a waistband, and the inner surface defines an inside of the body; and   a cradle comprising a looped band coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side such that the cradle is entirely on the inside of the body, wherein the looped band is configured to hold a penis therein.   
     
     
         2 . The apparel of  claim 1 , wherein the cradle further comprises an elongated band comprising a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is coupled to the looped band and the second portion is coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side. 
     
     
         3 . The apparel of  claim 1 , wherein the cradle is releasably coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side. 
     
     
         4 . The apparel of  claim 2 , wherein the second portion of the elongated band is releasably coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side by a coupler. 
     
     
         5 . The apparel of  claim 4 , wherein the coupler comprises male and female snap button connectors, a hook and a loop fastener, or a safety pin. 
     
     
         6 . The apparel of  claim 5 , wherein the coupler comprises the male and female snap button connectors comprising one of a male snap button connector and a female snap button connector stitched to the inner surface of the body at the front side, and another of the male snap button connector and the female snap button connector stitched to the elongated band. 
     
     
         7 . The apparel of  claim 6 , wherein the male snap button connector comprises a plurality of the male snap button connectors stitched to the elongated band, and the female snap button connector comprises a plurality of female snap button connectors stitched to the inner surface of the body at the front side. 
     
     
         8 . The apparel of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of female snap button connectors comprise a first set of female snap buttons and a second set of female snap buttons, each disposed linearly relative to one another in a vertical direction from the pair of leg openings towards the waistband, the first set of female snap buttons are stitched to the inner surface of the body at a first side of a central crotch portion of the front side, and the second set of female snap buttons are stitched to the inner surface of the body at a second side of the central crotch portion of the front side. 
     
     
         9 . The apparel of  claim 7 , wherein the plurality of female snap button connectors is disposed linearly relative to one another in a vertical direction from the pair of leg openings towards the waistband and are stitched to the inner surface of the body at a central crotch portion of the front side. 
     
     
         10 . The apparel of  claim 1 , wherein the looped band comprises a semi-circular lower portion coupled to a semi-circular upper portion, wherein the semi-circular lower portion comprises a width greater than the semi-circular upper portion. 
     
     
         11 . The apparel of  claim 1 , further comprises a gripping material disposed on an inner surface of the looped band. 
     
     
         12 . The apparel of  claim 11 , wherein the gripping material comprises at least one of a plurality of rubber strips and a plurality of rubber bumps. 
     
     
         13 . The apparel of  claim 1 , wherein a diameter of the looped band is adjustable. 
     
     
         14 . The apparel of  claim 13 , wherein a first end of the looped band is releasably coupled to a second end of the looped band. 
     
     
         15 . The apparel of  claim 14 , wherein the first end of the looped band comprises one of a male snap button and a female snap button and the second end of the looped band comprises a plurality of another of the male snap button and the female snap button disposed along a length of the looped band. 
     
     
         16 . A method of supporting a penis comprising:
 wearing an apparel around a waist and legs, the apparel comprising: a body comprising a front side, a rear side, a bottom, a top, an inner surface, and an outer surface, wherein the bottom defines a pair of leg openings, the top comprises a waistband, and the inner surface defines an inside of the body; and a cradle comprising a looped band coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side such that the cradle is entirely on the inside of the body; and   placing the penis through the looped band.   
     
     
         17 . The method of  claim 16 , wherein the cradle further comprises an elongated band comprising a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion is coupled to the looped band and the second portion is coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side. 
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein the elongated band is releasably coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side by a coupler, and a diameter of the looped band is adjustable. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 18 , wherein the coupler comprises male and female snap button connectors, a hook and loop fastener, or a safety pin. 
     
     
         20 . A method of treating a patient having a penis and being afflicted by erectile dysfunction, comprising:
 diagnosing the patient with erectile dysfunction;   prescribing that an apparel be worn by the patient, around a waist and legs of the patient, the apparel comprising a body comprising a front side, a rear side, a bottom, a top, an inner surface, and an outer surface, wherein the bottom defines a pair of leg openings, the top comprises a waistband, and the inner surface defines an inside of the body, the apparel also comprising a cradle comprising a looped band coupled to the inner surface of the body at the front side such that the cradle is entirely on the inside of the body; and   placing the patient's penis through the looped band.
