Abstract
A computing device may include a memory and a processor configured to cooperate with the memory to open a hosted session of an application running in a native session at a client computing device while the native session is also running. The processor may further cause the client computing device to switch between displaying the native session of the application and remotely displaying the hosted session of the application based upon a context associated with the client computing device.

a memory and a processor configured to cooperate with the memory to
open a hosted session of an application running in a native session at a client computing device while the native session is also running;
cause the client computing device to switch between displaying the native session of the application and remotely displaying the hosted session of the application based upon a context associated with the client computing device.
2 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a location of the client computing device.
3 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the client computing device is associated with a user account having a plurality of different personas, and wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to an active persona from among the plurality of different personas.
4 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a type of transaction requested by the application.
5 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a security risk level associated with an operation being performed by the application.
6 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a latency associated with the hosted session of the application.
7 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the client computing device comprises at least one input device; and wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a call to use the at least one input device by the application.
8 . The computer system of claim 7 wherein the at least one input device comprises at least one of a camera, a microphone, and an accelerometer.
9 . The computer system of claim 1 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a processing level associated with an operation being performed by the application.
10 . A method comprising:
at a computing device,
opening a hosted session of an application running in a native session at a client computing device while the native session is also running; and
causing the client computing device to switch between displaying the native session of the application and remotely displaying the hosted session of the application based upon a context associated with the client computing device.
11 . The method of claim 10 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a location of the client computing device.
12 . The method of claim 10 wherein the client computing device is associated with a user account having a plurality of different personas, and wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to an active persona from among the plurality of different personas.
13 . The method of claim 10 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a type of transaction requested by the application.
14 . The method of claim 10 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a security risk level associated with an operation being performed by the application.
15 . The method of claim 10 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a latency associated with the hosted session of the application.
16 . A non-transitory computer-readable medium having computer-executable instructions for causing a computing device to perform steps comprising:
opening a hosted session of an application running in a native session at a client computing device while the native session is also running; and causing the client computing device to switch between displaying the native session of the application and remotely displaying the hosted session of the application based upon a context associated with the client computing device.
17 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a location of the client computing device.

The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 wherein the client computing device is associated with a user account having a plurality of different personas, and wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to an active persona from among the plurality of different personas.
19 . The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 16 wherein the context associated with the client computing device corresponds to a type of transaction requested by the application.
