Person identification systems and methods
Abstract
Techniques disclosed herein relate to identifying individuals in digital images. In some embodiments, a digital image(s) that captures a scene containing one or more people may be acquired. The single digital image may be applied as input across a single machine learning model. In some implementations, the single machine learning model may be trained to perform a non-facial feature recognition task and a face-related recognition task. Output may be generated over the single machine learning model based on the input. The output may include first data indicative of non-facial features of a given person of the one or more people and second data indicative of at least a location of a face of the given person in the digital image relative to the non-facial features. In various embodiments, the given person may be identified based at least in part on the output.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method of subject monitoring, comprising:
receiving, by one or more computer processors, reference images of one or more subjects in a first area; receiving, by the one or more computer processors, a first digital image,
wherein the digital image captures a scene of a second area, and
wherein the second area contains at least one of the one or more subjects;
inputting, by the one or more computer processors, at least one parameter associated with the first digital image into a machine learning module, wherein the machine learning model is trained to perform non-facial feature recognition and facial recognition of the one or more subjects; determining, by the one or more computer processors, a set of physiological parameters associated with a subject of the one or more subjects; receiving, by the one or more computer processors, a second digital image of the subject; and determining, by the one or more computer processors, a subsequent set of physiological parameters associated with the subject.
2 . The method of claim 1 further comprising determining, by the one or more computer processors, whether the subsequent set of physiological parameters at least meets a vital sign threshold.
3 . The method of claim 2 further comprising responsive to determining that the subsequent set of physiological parameters at least meets the vital sign threshold, sending, by the one or more computer processors, one or more alarm program instructions to an alarm module.
4 . The method of claim 3 wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alarms associated with the subject.
5 . The method of claim 4 , wherein the one or more alarms are activated based on at least one of a severity of deterioration and a type of deterioration.
6 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alerts through one or more modalities.
7 . The method of claim 6 , wherein the one or more alerts are activated based on at least one of a severity of deterioration and a type of deterioration.
8 . A computer program product for subject monitoring, the computer program product comprising:
one or more computer readable storage devices and program instructions stored on the one or more computer readable storage devices, the stored program instructions comprising:
program instructions to receive reference images of one or more subjects in a first area;
program instructions to receive a first digital image,
wherein the digital image captures a scene of a second area, and
wherein the second area contains at least one of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to input at least one parameter associated with the first digital image into a machine learning module, wherein the machine learning model is trained to perform non-facial feature recognition and facial recognition of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to determine a set of physiological parameters associated with a subject of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to receive a second digital image of the subject; and
program instructions to determine a subsequent set of physiological parameters associated with the subject.
9 . The computer program product of claim 8 further comprising program instructions to determine whether the subsequent set of physiological parameters at least meets a vital sign threshold.
10 . The computer program product of claim 9 further comprising responsive to determining that the subsequent set of physiological parameters does not at least meet the vital sign threshold, program instructions to send one or more alarm program instructions to an alarm module.
11 . The computer program product of claim 10 wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alarms associated with the subject.
12 . The computer program product of claim 11 , wherein the one or more alarms are activated based on at least one of a severity of deterioration and a type of deterioration.
13 . The computer program product of claim 10 , wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alerts through one or more modalities.
14 . The computer program product of claim 13 , wherein the one or more alerts are activated based on at least one of a severity of deterioration and a type of deterioration.
15 . A system for variable authentication, the system comprising:
one or more computer processors; one or more computer readable storage devices;
program instructions to receive reference images of one or more subjects in a first area;
program instructions to receive a first digital image,
wherein the digital image captures a scene of a second area, and
wherein the second area contains at least one of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to input at least one parameter associated with the first digital image into a machine learning module, wherein the machine learning model is trained to perform non-facial feature recognition and facial recognition of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to determine a set of physiological parameters associated with a subject of the one or more subjects;
program instructions to receive a second digital image of the subject; and
program instructions to determine a subsequent set of physiological parameters associated with the subject.
16 . The system of claim 15 further comprising program instructions to determine whether the subsequent set of physiological parameters at least meets a vital sign threshold.
17 . The system of claim 16 further comprising responsive to determining that the subsequent set of physiological parameters does not at least meet the vital sign threshold, program instructions to send one or more alarm program instructions to an alarm module.
18 . The system of claim 17 wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alarms associated with the subject.
19 . The system of claim 18 , wherein the one or more alarms are activated based on at least one of a severity of deterioration and a type of deterioration.
20 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the one or more alarm program instructions causes an alarm module to activate one or more alerts through one or more modalities.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
