Portable armrest

Abstract

A portable armrest is disclosed herein. The armrest comprises an outer shell. At least one core cushion block is disposed within the outer shell. At least one auxiliary cushion block disposed within the outer shell adjacent the at least one core cushion block. The portable armrest has a feature allows a user to vary an operational height of the armrest by either including or excluding one or more auxiliary cushion blocks to be disposed within the outer shell along with the core cushion block.

1 . A strapless, standalone and portable armrest comprising:
 an outer shell;   at least one core cushion block disposed within an interior of the outer shell;   and   at least one auxiliary cushion block outside of the interior of the outer shell;   wherein addition of the auxiliary cushion block into the interior of the outer shell increases the height of the strapless, standalone and portable armrest;   wherein subsequent removal of the auxiliary cushion block from the interior of the outer shell decreases the height of the strapless, standalone and portable armrest; and   wherein the outer shell includes a closeable opening allowing the addition and the removal of the auxiliary cushion without damage to the outer shell.   
     
     
         2 . The portable armrest according to  claim 1 , wherein the outer shell comprises securing flaps extending from a pair of opposite walls of the outer shell for holding the at least one core cushion block and the at least one auxiliary cushion block within the outer shell. 
     
     
         3 . The portable armrest according to  claim 2 , wherein the securing flaps include hook and loop straps configured thereon. 
     
     
         4 . The portable armrest according to  claim 1 , wherein the outer shell is a fabric cover. 
     
     
         5 . The portable armrest according to  claim 2 , wherein the securing flaps are of a fabric material extending from the outer shell.

         8 . The portable armrest according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one core cushion block and the at least one auxiliary cushion block are made of a foam material. 
     
     
         9 . A strapless, standalone and portable armrest comprising:
 an outer shell;
 at least one core cushion block disposed within an interior of the outer shell; 
 and 
 at least one auxiliary cushion block disposed on top of the at least one core cushion block, the auxiliary cushion block and the core cushion block not bonded or attached to one another; 
   wherein the auxiliary cushion block is removeable from the interior of the outer shell through a closeable opening.
