Abstract
A glove comprising: a plurality of fingers and a thumb, a finger joint, a first lower portion and a second lower portion, wherein, the first lower portion is separable from the second lower portion such that when the first lower portion and second lower portion are separated, the plurality of fingers at the finger joint are at least partially visible through an opening formed between the first lower portion and the second lower portion.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A glove comprising:
a plurality of fingers and a thumb; a finger joint; a first lower portion; and a second lower portion, wherein, the first lower portion is separable from the second lower portion such that when the first lower portion and second lower portion are separated, the plurality of fingers at the finger joint are at least partially visible through an opening formed between the first lower portion and the second lower portion.
2 . The glove of claim 1 , further comprising:
a first sealable opening.
3 . The glove of claim 2 , wherein:
the first sealable opening further comprises:
a first sealable opening seam on the first lower portion, and
a first sealable opening seam on the second lower portion;
wherein the first sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and first sealable opening seam on the second lower portion are optionally openable and closable using a fastening device.
4 . The glove of claim 2 , further comprising:
a second sealable opening.
5 . The glove of claim 4 , wherein:
the second sealable opening further comprises:
a second sealable opening seam on the first lower portion, and
a second sealable opening seam on the second lower portion;
wherein the second sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and second sealable opening seam on the second lower portion are optionally openable and closable using a fastening device.
6 . The glove of claim 1 , wherein the first sealable opening is located along the side of the glove proximate the thumb.
7 . The glove of claim 3 , wherein the first sealable opening extends from an opening at the bottom of the glove to a finger joint.
8 . The glove of claim 3 , wherein the first sealable opening extends from an opening at the bottom of the glove to a distance short of a finger joint.
9 . The glove of claim 5 , wherein the first sealable and second sealable opening extend from an opening at the bottom of the glove to a distance short of a finger joint.
10 . The glove of claim 3 , further comprising:
a marking on or proximate to at least one of the plurality of fingers comprising at least one of a number, color, label, or shape.
11 . The glove of claim 5 , further comprising:
a marking on or proximate to at least one of the plurality of fingers comprising at least one of a number, color, label, or shape.
12 . The glove of claim 4 , wherein:
the second lower portion comprises a flap; and the second sealable opening further comprises:
a sealable knuckle opening comprising:
a sealable knuckle opening seam on a body of the glove, and
a sealable knuckle opening seam on the flap;
wherein the sealable knuckle opening seam on the body of the glove and sealable opening seam on the flap are optionally openable and closable using a fastening device.
13 . The glove of claim 12 , wherein the first sealable opening extends from an opening at the bottom of the glove to a finger joint and the sealable knuckle opening extends from the end of the first sealable opening proximate the finger joint across the finger joint to the opposite side of the glove.
14 . The glove of claim 12 , wherein the first sealable opening extends from an opening at the bottom of the glove to a distance short of a finger joint and the sealable knuckle opening extends from the end of the first sealable opening proximate the finger joint at least half way across the finger joint.
15 . The glove of claim 12 , further comprising:
a marking on or proximate to at least one of the plurality of fingers comprising at least one of a number, color, label, or shape.
16 . The glove of claim 12 , wherein the first sealable opening and the sealable knuckle opening further include a single fastening device for opening and closing the first sealable opening and the sealable knuckle opening.
17 . The glove of claim 12 , wherein the first sealable opening 170 is located on the back of the glove 101 and travels longitudinally from the opening 120 towards the finger joint 150 .
18 . A method of donning a glove, comprising:
separating a first lower portion of the glove from a second lower portion of the glove to at least partially make visible a plurality of fingers of the glove, inserting a hand into the glove using the at least partially visible fingers as a guide, and bringing the first lower portion of the glove and the second lower portion of the glove back together to close the glove.
19 . The method of donning a glove of claim 18 , wherein separating the first lower portion of the glove from the second lower portion of the glove to at least partially make visible a plurality of fingers of the glove creates a first sealable opening.
20 . The method of donning a glove of 19 , wherein:
the first sealable opening further comprises:
a first sealable opening seam on the first lower portion, and
a first sealable opening seam on the second lower portion,
the method further comprising:
opening the first sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and first sealable opening seam on the second lower portion,
inserting the hand into the glove, and
closing the first sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and first sealable opening seam on the second lower portion using a fastening device to secure the hand once inserted into the glove.
21 . The method of donning a glove of claim 19 , wherein separating the first lower portion of the glove from the second lower portion of the glove to at least partially make visible a plurality of fingers of the glove creates a second sealable opening.
22 . The method of donning a glove of claim 21 , wherein:
the second sealable opening further comprises:
a second sealable opening seam on the first lower portion, and
a second sealable opening seam on the second lower portion,
the method further comprising:
opening the second sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and second sealable opening seam on the second lower portion,
inserting the hand into the glove, and
closing the second sealable opening seam on the first lower portion and second sealable opening seam on the second lower portion using a fastening device to secure the hand once inserted into the glove.
23 . The method of donning a glove of claim 21 , wherein:
the second lower portion comprises a flap; and the second sealable opening further comprises:
a sealable knuckle opening comprising:
a sealable knuckle opening seam on a body of the glove, and
a sealable knuckle opening seam on the flap;
the method further comprising:
opening the sealable knuckle opening seam on the body of the glove and sealable knuckle opening seam on the flap,
inserting the hand into the glove, and
closing the sealable knuckle opening seam on the body of the glove and sealable knuckle opening seam on the flap using a fastening device to secure the hand once inserted into the glove.
24 . The glove of claim 1 , further comprising a first opening material between the first lower portion and second lower portion, wherein the first opening material is expandable such that the first lower portion and second lower portion may be separated.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
