Abstract

A system, method, and apparatus for modifying a vehicle comprising a cab enclosure configured to interface with a vehicle, a fixed deck, configured rearward of, and cooperating with, the vehicle cab, and an extensible deck projecting from, and cooperating with, the fixed deck. The cab enclosure further comprises at least one roof adaptor comprising at least one roof adaptor panel connected to the vehicle and a lower cab enclosure comprising at least one panel connected to the vehicle wherein the cab enclosure elements, fixed deck, and extensible deck are connected to the vehicle without permanent modification to the vehicle.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle comprising:
 a modular cab enclosure comprising a cab enclosure roof adaptor assembly;   a pivoting roof enclosure assembly further comprising:
 at least two pivoting roof panels; 
 hinges configured to engage the pivoting roof panels to a windshield frame; and 
 a light integrated in at least one of the pivoting roof panels. 
   
     
     
         2 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  where in the cab enclosure roof adaptor assembly further comprises:
 a left upper roof adaptor connected to a left lower root adaptor around a roll bar; and 
 a right upper roof adaptor connected to a right lower roof adaptor around the roll bar. 
 
     
     
         3 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  wherein the light further comprises:
 a light-bar integrated in each of the at least two pivoting roof panels. 
 
     
     
         4 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 3  wherein each light bar is configured in a forward facing portion of each of the at least two pivoting roof panels. 
     
     
         5 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  wherein said modular cab enclosure further comprises:
 a rear bulkhead assembly said rear bulkhead assembly further comprising:
 a lower rear bulkhead assembly configured between said cab of said vehicle and said cargo area of said vehicle; 
 a clamp connecting said lower rear bulkhead assembly to said roll cage member associated with said vehicle; and 
 an upper rear bulkhead assembly configured around an upper rear portion of said cab of said vehicle. 
 
 
     
     
         6 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  wherein said modular cab enclosure further comprises:
 a rear bulkhead assembly configured around a portion of said cab of said vehicle wherein said modular cab enclosure encloses said cab of said vehicle non-permanently. 
 
     
     
         7 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  wherein the each of the at least two pivoting roof panels are configured to extend forward of the windshield frame. 
     
     
         8 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  further comprising:
 a fixed deck configured rearward of, and cooperating with, said cab of said vehicle, said fixed deck being configured over a cargo area of said vehicle. 
 
     
     
         9 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 8  further comprising:
 a spare wheel mounting apparatus affixed to a roll bar. 
 
     
     
         10 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 9  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus further comprises:
 a wheel/tire hold down; 
 a wheel/tire support; 
 a pivot block; and 
 a motion control assembly. 
 
     
     
         11 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 9  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus further comprises:
 a stop block configured to connect to the roll bar. 
 
     
     
         12 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 11  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus is configured to articulate outboard of the vehicle, the wheel mounting apparatus further comprising:
 a winch configured to lower the spare wheel. 
 
     
     
         13 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 1  further comprising:
 an extensible deck projecting from, and cooperating with the vehicle, the extensible deck further comprising:
 at least one deck section; 
 a fixed structural support attached to the vehicle with at least one pivot; 
 a movable structural support connected to the extensible deck with the at least one pivot and cooperating with the fixed structural support; and 
 a load control element connected between the fixed structural support and the movable structural support wherein the extensible deck can be rotated about the at least one pivot. 
 
 
     
     
         14 . A system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle comprising:
 a cab enclosure roof adaptor assembly comprising:
 a left upper roof adaptor connected to a left lower root adaptor around a roll bar; and 
 a right upper roof adaptor connected to a right lower roof adaptor around the roll bar; 
   a pivoting roof enclosure assembly further comprising:
 at least two pivoting roof panels; 
 hinges configured to engage the pivoting roof panels to a windshield frame; and 
 a light integrated in at least one of the at least tow pivoting roof panels. 
   
     
     
         15 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 14  wherein the light comprises a light-bar integrated in each of the at least two pivoting roof panels is configured along an edge of each of the at least two pivoting roof panels, wherein each light bar is configured in a forward facing portion of each of the at least two pivoting roof panels. 
     
     
         16 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 14  wherein said modular cab enclosure further comprises:
 a rear bulkhead assembly said rear bulkhead assembly further comprising:
 a lower rear bulkhead assembly configured between said cab of said vehicle and said cargo area of said vehicle; 
 a clamp connecting said lower rear bulkhead assembly to said roll cage member associated with said vehicle; and 
 an upper rear bulkhead assembly configured around an upper rear portion of said cab of said vehicle. 
 
 
     
     
         17 . A system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle comprising:
 a modular cab enclosure comprising a cab enclosure roof adaptor assembly;   a pivoting roof enclosure assembly further comprising:
 at least two pivoting roof panels; 
 hinges configured to engage the pivoting roof panels to a windshield frame; 
 a light-bar integrated in each of the at least two pivoting roof panels; 
   a fixed deck configured rearward of, and cooperating with, said cab of said vehicle, said fixed deck being configured over a cargo area of said vehicle; and   a spare wheel mounting apparatus affixed to a roll bar and configured to articulate the spare wheel outboard of the vehicle.   
     
     
         18 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 17  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus further comprises:
 a wheel/tire hold down; 
 a wheel/tire support; 
 a pivot block connected to the wheel/tire support via at least one pivot; 
 a motion control assembly; and 
 a stop block configured to connect to the roll bar. 
 
     
     
         19 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 18  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus further comprises:
 an anti-rotation arm connected to a pivot block clamp associated with the pivot block; and 
 a winch configured to lower the spare wheel. 
 
     
     
         20 . The system for non-permanently modifying a vehicle of  claim 17  wherein the spare wheel mounting apparatus further comprises:
 a plurality of tire locators configured to engage the perimeter of a tire.
