receiving, from the first user device, in the chat session, a filtering command for displaying the digital item; and displaying, on the first user device, one or more digital items of the digital portfolio filtered according to the received filtering command in the chat session.
28 . A method comprising:
receiving, from a first user device associated with a first user, in a message of a chat session having the first user and a second user as participants, a request to receive a digital item from the second user, the message provided by a chat application over a communication network; in response to the request to receive the digital item from the second user, receiving, from a second user device associated with the second user, in the chat session using the chat application, the digital item and destination information for the digital item an identification of a digital portfolio having content of the digital portfolio stored on one or more computing devices; adding the digital item received from the second user in the chat session to the digital portfolio; receiving, from the first user device, in the chat session, a request to display the digital item; and in response to the request to display the digital item, causing display of at least a portion of the digital item on the first user device.
29 . The method of claim 28 , further comprising:
causing display of one or more additional digital items associated with the digital portfolio; receiving, from the first user device, in the chat session, a request to access the one or more additional digital items selected from the digital portfolio; and in response to the received request to access the one or more additional digital items selected from the digital portfolio, making the one or more additional digital items available to the first user using a second application on the first user device or a third user device associated with the first user.
