Abstract
A system, method, and computer program product are provided for managing a network system according to one embodiment. In use, the method includes temporarily granting a first device the ability to stream content to other devices in a network system; revoking the ability of the first device to stream the content to the other devices in the network system; and transferring to a second device the ability to stream additional content to the other devices in the network system.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A method, comprising:
temporarily granting a first device the ability to stream content to other devices in a network system; revoking the ability of the first device to stream the content to the other devices in the network system; and transferring to a second device the ability to stream additional content to the other devices in the network system.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first device leverages its own data connection to stream media content to the other devices in the network system.
3 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the network system includes one or more wireless networks.
4 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the content is stored in a cloud-based storage system.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first device includes a mobile phone.
6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the first device includes a stationary computer.
7 . The method of claim 1 , comprising controlling a connection of one or more of the other devices to the network system.
8 . A computer program product embodied on a non-transitory computer readable medium, comprising:
code configured to temporarily grant a first device the ability to stream content to other devices in a network system; code configured to revoke the ability of the first device to stream the content to the other devices in the network system; and code configured to transfer to a second device the ability to stream additional content to the other devices in the network system.
9 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the first device leverages its own data connection to stream media content to the other devices in the network system.
10 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the network system includes one or more wireless networks.
11 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the content is stored in a cloud-based storage system.
12 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the first device includes a mobile phone.
13 . The computer program product of claim 8 , wherein the first device includes a stationary computer.
14 . The computer program product of claim 8 , comprising code configured to control a connection of one or more of the other devices to the network system.
15 . A system comprising:
a memory system; and a processing circuit coupled to the memory system and configured to:
temporarily grant, by the processing circuit, a first device the ability to stream content to other devices in a network system;
revoke, by the processing circuit, the ability of the first device to stream the content to the other devices in the network system; and
transfer to a second device, by the processing circuit, the ability to stream additional content to the other devices in the network system.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the first device leverages its own data connection to stream media content to the other devices in the network system.
17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the network system includes one or more wireless networks.
18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the content is stored in a cloud-based storage system.
19 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the first device includes a mobile phone.
20 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the first device includes a stationary computer.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
