Abstract

A score keeper and display device, and methods of making and using such a score keeper and display device, whereby the score keeper and display device includes a panel having opposing panel front and rear faces, first interconnected slots disposed within the panel to communicate between the panel front and rear faces, a first marker configured to travel between the first interconnected slots, second interconnected slots disposed within the panel to communicate between the panel front and rear faces, and a second marker configured to travel between the second interconnected slots.

1 . A score keeper and display device, comprising:
 a panel having opposing panel front and rear faces;   first interconnected slots disposed within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces;   a first marker configured to travel between said first interconnected slots;   second interconnected slots disposed within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces; and   a second marker configured to travel between said second interconnected slots.   
     
     
         2 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said panel front and rear faces are substantially planar. 
     
     
         3 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said panel comprises an elongate panel. 
     
     
         4 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said first interconnected slots comprise a plurality of first slots interconnected with one another by a first interconnection. 
     
     
         5 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first interconnection is configured as an elongate aperture element. 
     
     
         6 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first slots and said first interconnection dispose in coplanar relation. 
     
     
         7 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein each of said first slots comprises a first slot longitudinal axis which passes through first slot opposing first and second ends. 
     
     
         8 . The device of  claim 7 , wherein said first slot first end communicates with said first interconnection. 
     
     
         9 . The device of  claim 8 , wherein said first slot second end provides a seat for said first marker. 
     
     
         10 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said first interconnected slots are completely laterally enclosed within said panel. 
     
     
         11 . The device of  claim 10 , wherein said first interconnected slots communicate between only said panel front and rear faces. 
     
     
         12 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first slots and said first interconnection are completely laterally enclosed within said panel. 
     
     
         13 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first slots are aligned along a panel longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         14 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first slots are vertically aligned within said panel. 
     
     
         15 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein a first interconnection longitudinal axis disposes in substantially parallel relation to a panel longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         16 . The device of  claim 15 , wherein said first interconnection is vertically disposed within said panel. 
     
     
         17 . The device of  claim 7 , wherein said first slots are disposed in angled relation to said first interconnection. 
     
     
         18 . The device of  claim 17 , wherein said first slot longitudinal axis disposes in angled relation to a first interconnection longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         19 . The device of  claim 18 , wherein said first slot first end angles upwardly from said first slot second end. 
     
     
         20 . The device of  claim 19 , wherein said first slot longitudinal axis disposes at an angle of less than 0° and greater than about −90° in relation to said first interconnection longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         21 . The device of  claim 20 , wherein said first slot longitudinal axis disposes at an angle of less than about −20° and greater than about −70° in relation to said first interconnection longitudinal axis. 
     
     
         22 . The device of  claim 4 , wherein said first marker comprises first marker first and second ends and a first marker intermediate portion disposed therebetween. 
     
     
         23 . The device of  claim 22 , wherein said first marker first and second ends comprise a greater outer perimeter than said first marker intermediate portion. 
     
     
         24 . The device of  claim 22 , wherein said first marker first and second ends comprise a greater cross-sectional area than said first marker intermediate portion. 
     
     
         25 . The device of  claim 22 , wherein said first marker is a one-piece construct. 
     
     
         26 . The device of  claim 25 , further comprising a first entry port disposed within said panel to communicate (i) between said panel front and rear faces, and with said first interconnected slots;
 wherein said first entry port is configured to receive said first marker.   
     
     
         27 . The device of  claim 26 , wherein said first entry port disposes above said first interconnection. 
     
     
         28 . The device of  claim 22 , wherein said first marker first and second ends are separable from another. 
     
     
         29 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein upon disposition of said first marker within said first interconnected slots, said first marker is fixedly coupled to said panel to provide a unitary construct. 
     
     
         30 . The device of  claim 1 , wherein said first and second interconnected slots dispose in substantially parallel spaced apart relation. 
     
     
         31 . The device of  claim 4 , further comprising a plurality of score indicium coupled to said panel. 
     
     
         32 . The device of  claim 31 , wherein each said score indicium is associated with one of said first slots. 
     
     
         33 . The device of  claim 32 , wherein each said score indicium is associated with one of said first slots and a corresponding one of said second slots. 
     
     
         34 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising a panel support coupled to said panel, said panel support configured to support said panel in an upright position. 
     
     
         35 . The device of  claim 34 , wherein said panel support and said panel are provided as a one-piece construct. 
     
     
         36 . The device of  claim 34 , wherein said panel support is removably coupled to said panel. 
     
     
         37 . The device of  claim 1 , further comprising an auxiliary support coupled to said panel, said auxiliary support configured to support one or more auxiliary objects. 
     
     
         38 . The device of  claim 37 , wherein said auxiliary support comprises a substantially planar surface which outwardly extends from said panel front or rear face. 
     
     
         39 . The device of  claim 37 , wherein said auxiliary support comprises a substantially planar surface which frontwardly extends from said panel front face. 
     
     
         40 . The device of  claim 38 , wherein said auxiliary support comprises a pair of said substantially planar surfaces disposed in spaced apart relation. 
     
     
         41 . A method of making a score keeper and display device, comprising:
 providing a panel having opposing panel front and rear faces;   disposing first interconnected slots within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces;   providing a first marker configured to travel between said first interconnected slots;   disposing second interconnected slots within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces; and   providing a second marker configured to travel between said second interconnected slots.   
     
     
         42 . The method of  claim 41 , further comprising configuring said panel front and rear faces as substantially planar. 
     
     
         43 . The method of  claim 41 , further comprising configuring said panel as an elongate panel. 
     
     
         44 . The method of  claim 41 , further comprising configuring said first interconnected slots as a plurality of first slots interconnected with one another by a first interconnection. 
     
     
         45 . The method of  claim 44 , further comprising configuring said first interconnection as an elongate aperture element. 
     
     
         46 . The method of  claim 44 , further comprising disposing said first slots and said first interconnection in coplanar relation.

         81 . A method of using a score keeper and display device, comprising:
 obtaining:
 a panel having opposing panel front and rear faces; 
 first interconnected slots disposed within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces; 
 a first marker configured to travel between said first interconnected slots; 
 second interconnected slots disposed within said panel to communicate between said panel front and rear faces; and 
 a second marker configured to travel between said second interconnected slots; 
   supporting said panel on a surface in an upright position; and   moving said first marker within said first interconnected slots to indicate a position of a first player of a game.   
     
     
         82 . The method of  claim 81 , further comprising moving said second marker within said second interconnected slots to indicate a position of a second player of said game. 
     
     
         83 . The method of  claim 81 , further comprising employing a panel support coupled to said panel to support said panel on said surface in said upright position. 
     
     
         84 . The method of  claim 83 , further comprising engaging said panel support with said surface. 
     
     
         85 . The method of  claim 84 , further comprising extending a distal end of said panel support into said surface. 
     
     
         86 . The method of  claim 81 , further comprising:
 disposing said first marker within said first interconnected slots; and   disposing said second marker within said second interconnected slots.   
     
     
         87 . The method of  claim 86 , further comprising:
 passing a portion of said first marker through a first entry port to dispose said first marker within said first interconnected slots; and   passing a portion of said second marker through a second entry port to dispose said second marker within said second interconnected slots.   
     
     
         88 . The method of  claim 81 , further comprising disengaging said panel from said surface. 
     
     
         89 . The method of  claim 81 , further comprising engaging an auxiliary object with an auxiliary support coupled to said panel. 
     
     
         90 . The method of  claim 90 , further comprising disposing said auxiliary object within an aperture disposed within said auxiliary support.
