Abstract
A fume extractor hood (1) comprises a frame (2) configured to at least partially fit into a receptacle (100) formed in a ceiling (101); at least one lock member (9) located at one side (3a, 3b) of the frame (2), and comprising a deployable portion (10), adapted to be alternated between a deployed configuration in which it holds the frame (2) in the receptacle (100) and a retracted configuration in which it is entirely pulled back inside a perimeter of the frame (2) to allow the frame to be moved into and out of the receptacle (100), the lock member (9) comprises at least one elastic element (11) associated with the deployable portion (10) to bias it from the retracted configuration to the deployed configuration; the lock member (9) comprises a grip element (15) connected to the deployable portion (10) and arranged to be accessible when the frame (2) fits in the receptacle (100), the grip element (15) is able to move along a center axis (V) perpendicular to the sides (3a,3b) of the frame, the grip element is adapted to be actuated to pull the deployable portion (10) back from the deployed configuration to the retracted configuration.

A fume extraction hood of the type that can at least partially fit into a receptacle formed in a ceiling, said ceiling having an outer surface and an inner surface, the latter at least partially defining said receptacle and being opposite to the outer surface, said hood comprising:
a frame having at least one pair of opposite sides, said frame being configured to fit at least partially into said receptacle, said frame having a center axis perpendicular to said sides; at least one lock member positioned at one of the said sides of said frame, said lock member comprising a deployable portion having a direction of deployment perpendicular to its respective side of the frame and to the center axis and switchable between a deployed configuration in which it rests on said inner surface to retain said frame in said receptacle and a retracted configuration in which it is pulled back inside a perimeter of said frame to allow said frame to be introduced into and removed from said receptacle, said lock member comprising at least one elastic element associated with said deployable portion to push it from the retracted to the deployed configuration; wherein said lock member comprises a grip element connected to said deployable portion and arranged to be accessed when said frame fits in said receptacle, said grip element being movable along said center axis and/or rotatable about a longitudinal main axis of extension substantially parallel to said center axis to return said deployable portion from the deployed to the retracted configuration.
2 . The hood as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said lock member comprises a connecting portion having a first end and a second end opposite to each other, said second end being connected to said deployable portion, said grip element being connected to said connecting portion between said ends.
3 . The hood as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said connecting portion is hinged to the deployable portion at a hinge axis that is substantially perpendicular to said center axis and to said direction of deployment.
4 . The hood as claimed in claim 3 , wherein said elastic element is operable between the connecting portion and the deployable portion to open them apart.
5 . The hood as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said connecting portion slides along said longitudinal axis.
6 . The hood as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said lock member comprises a sleeve which is rigidly joined to said connecting portion and is configured to translate along said grip element.
7 . The hood as claimed in claim 6 , wherein said grip element comprises a screw that can be screwed into the sleeve to move it along said longitudinal axis of extension.
8 . The hood as claimed in claim 2 , wherein said lock member has an abutment zone facing said deployable portion and configured to abut said deployable portion to push it into the retracted configuration.
9 . The hood as claimed in claim 2 , wherein the first end of said connecting portion is pivotally attached to the frame.
10 . The hood as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said lock element comprises a support attached to the frame, said first end of said connecting portion being hinged to the support to pivot about an additional hinge axis parallel to the hinge axis.
11 . The hood as claimed in claim 10 , wherein said lock member has a projection projecting out of said deployable portion toward the outside of the frame and opposite to the connecting portion, said support having an abutment zone facing said projection, said projection being adapted to abut said abutment zone to push the deployable portion into the retracted configuration.
12 . The hood as claimed in claim 11 , herein said projection is located proximate to said connecting portion.
13 . The hood as claimed in claim 9 , wherein said lock member comprises a pin that is pivotally connected to the connecting portion between said ends, said grip member comprising a screw that can be screwed into the pin to move said pin along said center axis.
14 . The hood as claimed in claim 1 , wherein it comprises a plurality of said lock members situated on both of said opposite sides of said frame.
15 . The hood as claimed in claim 1 , wherein it comprises two of said lock members situated on the same side of said frame.
16 . A fume extraction hood of the type that can at least partially fit into a receptacle formed partially defining said receptacle and being opposite to the outer surface, said hood comprising:
a frame having at least one pair of opposite sides, said frame being configured to fit at least partially into said receptacle, said frame having a center axis perpendicular to said sides; at least one lock member positioned at one of the said sides of said frame, said lock member comprising a deployable portion having a direction of deployment perpendicular to its respective side of the frame and to the center axis and switchable between a deployed configuration in which it rests on said inner surface to retain said frame in said receptacle and a retracted configuration in which it is pulled back inside a perimeter of said frame to allow said frame to be introduced into and removed from said receptacle, said lock member comprising at least one elastic element associated with said deployable portion to push it from the retracted to the deployed configuration; wherein said lock member comprises a grip element connected to said deployable portion and arranged to be accessed when said frame fits in said receptacle, said grip element being movable along said center axis and/or rotatable about a longitudinal main axis of extension substantially parallel to said center axis to return said deployable portion from the deployed to the retracted configuration, wherein said lock member comprises a connecting portion having a first end and a second end opposite to each other, said second end being connected to said deployable portion, said grip element being connected to said connecting portion between said ends.
17 . A fume extraction hood of the type that can at least partially fit into a receptacle formed in a ceiling, said ceiling having an outer surface and an inner surface, the latter at least partially defining said receptacle and being opposite to the outer surface, said hood comprising:
