Abstract
A foldable camera stand is disclosed which includes an elongated base plate, an imaging device, and an elongated first arm plate with a first end movably coupled to the base plate and a second end pivotally connected to the imaging device, the first end being opposite to the second end, wherein the imaging device and the first arm plate are approximately in the same plane which is substantially parallel to the base plate when the camera stand is in a folded state.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedThe invention is claimed as follows:
1 . A stand for an imaging device, comprising:
an elongated base plate; and an elongated first arm plate with a first end movably coupled to the base plate and a second end distal to the first end, wherein the second end is pivotally couplable to an imaging device, wherein when the stand is in a folded state, the first arm plate is movable to a position substantially parallel to the base plate.
2 . The stand of claim 1 , further comprising a mounting fixture.
3 . The stand of claim 2 , wherein the second end is configured to be pivotally connected to the imaging device through the mounting fixture.
4 . The stand of claim 2 , wherein the mounting fixture comprises a component selected from the group consisting of a mounting screw, a clamp, and a magnet, and combinations thereof
5 . The stand of claim 1 , further comprising an elongated second arm plate having a third end and a fourth end distal to the third end, the third end being pivotally connected to the base plate and the fourth end being pivotally connected to the first end of the first arm plate.
6 . The stand of claim 5 , wherein a length of the first arm plate is longer than a length of the second arm plate, and wherein when the stand is in the folded state, the second arm plate is movable to a position substantially parallel to the first arm plate.
7 . The stand of claim 5 , further comprising a first hinge for the pivotal connection between the third end of the second arm plate and the base plate, wherein the base plate extends beyond the first hinge by a predetermined length to form a first area.
8 . The stand of claim 7 , wherein the first area of the base plate accommodates the imaging device when the stand is in the folded state.
9 . The stand of claim 5 , wherein when the stand is in a fully extended state, the first arm plate and the second arm plate are aligned in a straight line.
10 . A stand for an imaging device, comprising:
an elongated base plate; an elongated first arm plate with a first end and a second end distal to the first end, wherein the second end is pivotally couplable to an imaging device; and an elongated second arm plate having a third end and a fourth end distal to the third end, the third end being pivotally connected to the base plate and the fourth end being pivotally connected to the first end of the first arm plate, wherein when the stand is in a folded state, the first arm plate and the second arm plate are movable to a position substantially parallel to the base plate.
11 . The stand of claim 10 , further comprising a mounting fixture.
12 . The stand of claim 11 , wherein the second end is configured to be pivotally connected to the imaging device through the mounting fixture.
13 . The stand of claim 11 , wherein the mounting fixture comprises a component selected from the group consisting of a mounting screw, a clamp, and a magnet, and combinations thereof.
14 . The stand of claim 10 , wherein a length of the first arm plate is longer than a length of the second arm plate, and wherein when the stand is in the folded state, the second arm plate is movable to a position substantially parallel to the first arm plate.
15 . The stand of claim 10 , further comprising a first hinge for the pivotal connection between the third end of the second arm plate and the base plate, wherein the base plate extends beyond the first hinge by a predetermined length to form a first area.
16 . The stand of claim 15 , wherein the first area of the base plate accommodates the imaging device when the stand is in the folded state.
17 . The stand of claim 10 , wherein when the stand is in a fully extended state, the first arm plate and the second arm plate are aligned in a straight line.
18 . A stand for an imaging device, comprising:
an elongated base plate; an imaging device; and an elongated first arm plate with a first end movably coupled to the base plate and a second end distal to the first end, wherein the second end is pivotally coupled to the imaging device, wherein when the stand is in a folded state, the first arm plate is movable to a position substantially parallel to the base plate, wherein the imaging device includes a rotation button configured to alternate image orientation.
19 . The stand of claim 18 , wherein the imaging device includes an enclosure.
20 . The stand of claim 19 , wherein the imaging device includes a latching device configured to lock an imaging part of the imaging device to the enclosure.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
