Shower Floor Addition Square Cap Converter

Abstract

A method to convert a current round drain structure imbedded within a tiled shower floor with a quadrangular structure includes steps of. Remove drain grate from current round drain structure imbedded within the tiled floor. Insert said quadrangular structure atop the current round drain structure, the quadrangular structure including. A lower section extending downward from the said quadrangular structure a circular cone shaped area defining departure port and a wall section extending upward from the lower section defining wall to contain and hold up a drain grill and a support section extending atop a tile floor outward from the lower section defining horizontal support flanges and the drain grill, square structure having a plurality of holes. Applying bonding layer of thin-set mortar, further including a supplemental tiled shower floor atop, tiled shower floor. Caulking thereby mechanically interlaces the quadrangular structure with a surrounding supplemental tile floor.

1 . A shower drains system comprising:
 A quadrangular structure device to, sustain and fix a drain grill, said quadrangular structure to fit into a current round drain structure entrance port imbedded within a tiled shower floor, the quadrangular structure including.   a lower section extending downward from the said quadrangular structure a circular cone shaped area defining departure port; and   a wall section extending upward from the lower section defining wall to contain and hold up the drain grill; and   a support section extending atop a tile floor outward from the lower section defining horizontal support flanges; and   the drain grill, square structure having a plurality of holes.

The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein the said quadrangular structure, base of an interior support ridge at corners of a square said wall section one degree sloping areas leading inward to a continuing sloping cylindrical drain area with a greater sloped area, furthermore leading to the circular cone. 
     
     
         3 . The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein the said quadrangular structure, and vertical thin walls extending up from base said quadrangular structure. 
     
     
         4 . The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein the said quadrangular structure provide a latent place on which to accommodate, sustain and fix the drain grill. 
     
     
         5 . The shower drains system of  claim 4 , wherein the latent place an interior support ridge at base of the said drain structure vertical thin wall.

The shower drains system of  claim 3 , wherein vertical thin walls exterior a plurality of half round vertical support pins furthermore providing strength and spacing operable to caulking thereby mechanically interlace the drain structure within a surrounding supplemental tile floor. 
     
     
         7 . The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein horizontal support flanges extending outward from the said drain structure. 
     
     
         8 . The shower drains system of  claim 7 , wherein thin horizontal support flanges acts particularly as a chasse and extension, enabling the said drain structure to be placed top of an existing shower floor furthermore over the existing shower drain. 
     
     
         9 . The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein drain grill configured with a slight downward curved arc upper surface furthermore a plurality of drain holes spaced in a distinctive geometric pattern. 
     
     
         10 . The shower drains system of  claim 1 , wherein drain grill lower surface configured with plurality of ridges spanning furthermore adding strength. 
     
     
         11 . A method to convert a current round drain structure imbedded within a tiled shower floor with a quadrangular structure includes steps of.
 A. Remove drain grate from the current round drain structure imbedded within the tiled floor.   B. Insert said quadrangular structure atop the current round drain structure, the quadrangular structure including.
 A lower section extending downward from the said quadrangular structure a circular cone shaped area defining departure port; and 
 A wall section extending upward from the lower section defining wall to contain and hold up a drain grill; and 
 A support section extending atop a tile floor outward from the lower section defining horizontal support flanges; and 
 The drain grill, square structure having a plurality of holes. 
   C. Applying bonding layer of thin-set mortar further including a supplemental tiled shower floor atop said tiled shower floor.   D. Caulking thereby mechanically interlaces the quadrangular structure with a surrounding supplemental tile floor.   E. Insert the drain grill atop said quadrangular structure.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 11 , wherein creating atop second layer of tile on an existing shower tiled floor and said current round drain structure. 
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 12 , wherein convert thereby changing said current round drain structure to a said quadrangular structure.
