Cigar support system
Abstract
A strap has first and second ends with upper and a lower edges. The strap has interior and exterior surfaces with hook and loop fasteners whereby the strap may be removably wrapped around the cigar. A magnet has a rectilinear configuration with inner and outer faces and with a rectangular magnet periphery. The magnet periphery has a magnet circumference. An intermediate component has a rectilinear configuration with a chamber there within. The chamber has a size removably receiving the magnet. The intermediate component has a front opening with a front circumference less than the magnet circumference. The intermediate component has a rear opening with a rear circumference greater than the magnetic circumference. The intermediate component has slots on opposite sides of the chamber for the passage of the straps.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed as being new and desired to be protected by Letters Patent of the United States is as follows:
1 . A cigar handling system including a strap having first and second ends, the strap having upper and a lower edges, the strap having interior and an exterior surfaces, hook and loop fasteners on the interior and exterior surfaces whereby the strap may be removably wrapped around the cigar;
a magnet having a rectilinear configuration with inner and outer faces and with a rectangular magnet periphery, the magnet periphery having a magnet circumference; and an intermediate component having a rectilinear configuration with a chamber there within, the chamber having a size removably receiving the magnet, the intermediate component having a front opening with a front circumference less than the magnet circumference, the intermediate component having a rear opening with a rear circumference greater than the magnetic circumference, the intermediate component having laterally spaced slots on opposite sides of the chamber for the passage of the strap there through.
2 . The system as set forth in claim 1 wherein the first end of the strap is cut to form an acute angle and the second end of the strap is cut to form a right angle with respect to the upper and lower edges.
3 . The system as set forth in claim 2 wherein the first end overlaps the second end during use.
4 . The system as set forth in claim 1 and further including a cigar encompassed by the strap, and further including a golf club shaft magnetically supporting to magnet
5 . A cigar handling system ( 10 ) for securely holding a cigar ( 11 ) and for removably positioning the cigar at an elevated position on a golf club ( 12 ) during a round of golf, the securely holding and the removably positioning being done in a safe, convenient, and economical manner, the system comprising, in combination:
a strap ( 14 ) having a first end ( 16 ) and a second end ( 18 ) separated by a strap length and with an intermediate extent ( 20 ) between the first end and the second end, the strap having an upper edge ( 22 ) and a lower edge ( 24 ) separated by a strap height, the first end of the strap being cut to form an acute angle, the second end of the strap being cut at a right angle with respect to the upper edge and the lower edge, the strap having an interior surface ( 26 ) and an exterior surface ( 28 ), hook and loop fasteners ( 29 ) on the interior surface and in the exterior surface whereby the strap may be removably wrapped around the cigar with the first end overlapping the second end; a magnet ( 30 ) having a generally rectilinear configuration with an inner face ( 32 ) and an outer face ( 34 ) and with a rectangular magnet periphery ( 36 ) between the inner face and the outer face, the magnet periphery having a magnet circumference; and an intermediate component ( 40 ) having a rectilinear configuration with a chamber there ( 42 ) within, the chamber having a size to removably receive the magnet, the intermediate component having a front opening ( 44 ) with a front circumference less than the magnet circumference to preclude passage of the magnet there through, the intermediate component having a rear opening with a rear circumference greater than the magnetic circumference to allow passage of the magnet there through, the intermediate component having laterally spaced slots ( 46 ) on opposite sides of the chamber for the passage of the strap there through for retaining the magnet in the chamber.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
