Rolling paper for rolling a tapered filter tip for a cigarette

Abstract

A rolling paper (1) for rolling a tapered filter tip (2) for a cigarette (3), said rolling paper (1) comprising a flat paper body (4) comprising an upper edge (5), a lower edge (6), a first side edge (7, 8), and a second side edge (7, 8), wherein the upper edge (5) is positioned opposite to the lower edge (6), and the first side edge (7, 8) is positioned opposite to the second side edge (7, 8), and at least one folding line extending transversely to the upper edge (5) and the lower edge (6) and located closer to the second side edge (7, 8) than the first side edge (7, 8), wherein the upper edge (5) is larger than the lower edge (6), the upper edge (5) comprises an upper curved part, the upper edge (5) transitions into the first side edge (7, 8) at an upper corner (11), the lower edge (6) comprises a lower curved part, the lower edge (6) transitions into the first side edge (7, 8) at a lower corner (13), and at least one of the lower corner (13) and the upper corner (11) is a rounded corner (14).

         53 . A rolling paper for rolling a tapered filter tip for a cigarette, said rolling paper comprising:
 a flat paper body comprising an upper edge, a lower edge, a first side edge, and a second side edge, wherein the upper edge is positioned opposite to the lower edge, and the first side edge is positioned opposite to the second side edge; and   at least one folding line extending transversely to the upper edge and the lower edge and located closer to the second side edge than the first side edge, wherein:   the upper edge is larger than the lower edge;   the upper edge comprises an upper curved part;   the upper edge transitions into the first side edge at an upper corner;   the lower edge comprises a lower curved part;   the lower edge transitions into the first side edge at a lower corner; and   at least one of the lower corner and the upper corner is a rounded corner.   
     
     
         54 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein a corner radius R of the rounded corner is at least 0.25 mm. 
     
     
         55 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein a corner radius R of the rounded corner is within a range of 0.25-6 mm. 
     
     
         56 . The rolling paper according to  claim 54 , wherein the rounded corner extends along part of a corner circle having the corner radius R. 
     
     
         57 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein the upper corner is formed as the rounded corner and referred to as a rounded upper corner. 
     
     
         58 . The rolling paper according to  claim 57 , wherein the rounded upper corner has an upper corner radius R UC  within a range of 0.5-6 mm. 
     
     
         59 . The rolling paper according to  claim 57 , wherein only the upper corner is formed as the rounded corner. 
     
     
         60 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein the lower corner is formed as the rounded corner and referred to as a rounded lower corner. 
     
     
         61 . The rolling paper according to  claim 60 , wherein the rounded lower corner has a lower corner radius R LC  within a range of 0.25-5 mm. 
     
     
         62 . The rolling paper according to  claim 60 , wherein only the lower corner is formed as the rounded corner. 
     
     
         63 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein the upper corner and the lower corner are formed as the rounded corner and referred to as a rounded upper corner and a rounded lower corner, respectively. 
     
     
         64 . The rolling paper according to  claim 63 , wherein the rounded upper corner has an upper corner radius R UC , the rounded lower corner has a lower corner radius R LC , and the upper corner radius R UC  differs from the lower corner radius R LC . 
     
     
         65 . The rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein the lower edge comprises a chamfered part located between the lower curved part and the lower corner. 
     
     
         66 . The rolling paper according to  claim 65 , wherein the chamfered part extends under an angle α away from the lower curved part and towards the upper edge. 
     
     
         67 . The rolling paper according to  claim 66 , wherein the angle α is within a range of 5-45 degrees. 
     
     
         68 . A tapered filter tip for a cigarette formed by a rolling paper according to  claim 53 , wherein:
 the paper body is folded along the at least one folding line to form a folded part of the paper body; and   a remaining body part of the paper body is rolled around the folded part in a spiral configuration with the first side edge, the lower corner and the upper corner being located at an outer side of the tapered filter tip.   
     
     
         69 . A kit of parts comprising a tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper and a tapered filter tip according to  claim 68 . 
     
     
         70 . An assembly comprising a tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper and a tapered filter tip according to  claim 68 , wherein the tapered filter tip is located inside the tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper. 
     
     
         71 . A cigarette comprising an assembly according to  claim 70  and a smokable substance, such as tobacco and/or cannabis, being located inside the tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper. 
     
     
         72 . A method for producing an assembly comprising a tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper and a tapered filter tip according to  claim 68 , said method comprising:
 placing the tapered filter tip in a wide opening of the tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper; and   moving the filter tip inside the tapered hollow cylinder made of cigarette paper from the wide opening into a position adjacent to an opposite narrow opening of said tapered hollow cylinder.
