Abstract
A furniture leg protective sock to prevent a furniture leg from scraping or marring a floor includes a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween, the outer layer having a first outer layer surface and a second outer layer surface, the inner layer having a first inner layer surface and a second inner layer surface, the first outer layer surface and the first inner layer surface being continuous, the second outer layer surface and the second inner layer surface being continuous; and a caster cup. The caster cup is attached to the stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material. The caster cup is filled with a deformable friction material.

a stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material to form an outer layer, an inner layer, and a gap therebetween, said outer layer having a first outer layer surface and a second outer layer surface, said inner layer having a first inner layer surface and a second inner layer surface, said first outer layer surface and said first inner layer surface being continuous, said second outer layer surface and said second inner layer surface being continuous; and a caster cup; said caster cup being attached to said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material; said caster cup being filled with a deformable friction material
2 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by fusing said caster cup to said inner layer.
3 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by gluing said caster cup to said inner layer.
4 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by a hook/loop mechanism.
5 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by snaps.
6 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.
7 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by fusing said caster cup to said outer layer.
8 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by gluing said caster cup to said outer layer.
9 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by a hook/loop mechanism.
10 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is attached to said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material by snaps.

The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said caster cup is located in said gap between said second outer layer surface of said outer layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material and said second inner layer surface of said inner layer of said stretchable/expandable double-layered non-friction material.
12 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said deformable friction material is neofoam that is deformable and biased to return to original shape.
13 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said deformable friction material is biased to return to original shape.
14 . The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said deformable friction material includes a slit, said slit being configured to enable a caster to penetrate said deformable friction material such that said deformable friction material interfaces with sides of the caster.

The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said deformable friction material includes a slit, said slit being configured to create a vertical barrier between said deformable friction material and a caster when the caster penetrates, through said slit, said deformable friction material.

The furniture leg protective sock as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said deformable friction material includes a channel, said channel being configured to enable a caster to penetrate said deformable friction material such that said deformable friction material interfaces with sides of the caster.
