Abstract

A mobile station comprises a receiver and a processor. The receiver is configured to receive, from a base station, allocation information indicating a plurality of uplink resource block(s). The processor is configured to obtain from the base station a response signal for data mapped on the uplink resource block(s). The response signal is obtained using a first coding for the mobile station in a first cell or first cell sector. The first coding is different from a second coding used by the base station for a response signal in a neighboring cell or neighboring cell sector. The response signal is mapped to a resource of downlink based on an index of allocated plurality of uplink resource blocks.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A base station apparatus comprising:
 a processor configured to:
 allocate, to a mobile station, a plurality of uplink resource block(s), the plurality of uplink resource blocks being consecutive in a frequency domain; 
 provide a response signal for uplink data for a mobile station in a first cell or first cell sector using a first coding, the first coding being different from a second coding with which the processor is configured provide a response signal in a neighboring cell or neighboring cell sector; 
   a transmitter configured to transmit the response signal to the mobile station.   
     
     
         2 . The base station apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the response signal is mapped to a resource of downlink based on an index of the allocated plurality of uplink resource blocks 
     
     
         3 . The base station apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are interference reduction codings. 
     
     
         4 . The base station apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are spreading coding blocks. 
     
     
         5 . The base station apparatus according to  claim 1 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal. 
     
     
         6 . A mobile station apparatus comprising:
 a receiver configured to receive, from a base station, allocation information indicating a plurality of uplink resource block(s); and   a processor configured to obtain from the base station a response signal for data mapped on the uplink resource block(s), the response signal being obtained using a first coding for the mobile station in a first cell or first cell sector, the first coding being different from a second coding used by the base station for a response signal in a neighboring cell or neighboring cell sector, the response signal being mapped to a resource of downlink based on an index of allocated plurality of uplink resource blocks.   
     
     
         7 . The mobile station apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are interference reduction codings. 
     
     
         8 . The mobile station apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are spreading coding blocks. 
     
     
         9 . The mobile station apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal. 
     
     
         10 . The mobile station apparatus according to  claim 6 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal. 
     
     
         11 . A method in a mobile station apparatus comprising:
 receiving, from a base station, allocation information indicating one or a plurality of uplink resource block(s), the plurality of uplink resource blocks being consecutive in a frequency domain;   obtaining from the base station a response signal for data mapped on the uplink resource block(s), the response signal being obtained using a first coding for the mobile station in a first cell or first cell sector, the first coding being different from a second coding used by the base station for a response signal in a neighboring cell or neighboring cell sector, the response signal being mapped to a resource of downlink based on an index of allocated one or a plurality of uplink resource block.   
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 11 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are interference reduction codings. 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 11 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are spreading coding blocks. 
     
     
         14 . The method according to  claim 11 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal. 
     
     
         15 . The method according to  claim 11 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal. 
     
     
         16 . A method in a base station apparatus comprising:
 allocating, to a mobile station, one or a plurality of uplink resource block(s), the plurality of uplink resource blocks being consecutive in a frequency domain;   providing a response signal for uplink data for a mobile station in a first cell or first cell sector using a first coding, the first coding being different from a second coding with which the base station apparatus is configured provide a response signal in a neighboring cell or neighboring cell sector, the response signal being mapped to a resource of downlink based on an index of the allocated one or a plurality of uplink resource block;   transmitting the response signal to the mobile station.   
     
     
         17 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are interference reduction codings. 
     
     
         18 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the first coding and the second coding are spreading coding blocks. 
     
     
         19 . The method according to  claim 16 , wherein the response signal is an ACK or NACK signal
