Abstract

An embodiment of a semiconductor package apparatus may include technology to generate first name information corresponding to data and/or content for an autonomous vehicle to represent vehicular application information based on requirements of the vehicular application information, and generate second name information corresponding to a chain of functions for an autonomous vehicle based on the requirements of the vehicular application information. Another embodiment may include technology to identify a cluster head for a cluster of autonomous vehicles, utilize the cluster head to assist in-networking caching of data and/or functions, utilize the cluster head to coordinate discovery of availability of functions, data cache resources, and/or compute resources in a proximity of the cluster head, and utilize the cluster head to coordinate producer mobility and/or consumer mobility. Other embodiments are disclosed and claimed.

We claim: 
     
         1 . A semiconductor package apparatus for use with autonomous vehicle-related information, comprising:
 one or more substrates; and   processing circuitry coupled to the one or more substrates, wherein the processing circuitry is at least partly implemented in one or more of configurable circuitry or fixed-functionality circuitry, the processing circuitry coupled to the one or more substrates to:
 identify a cluster head for a cluster of autonomous vehicles, 
 utilize the cluster head to assist in-networking caching of one or more of data and functions, 
 utilize the cluster head to coordinate discovery of one or more of an availability of functions, data cache resources, and compute resources in the proximity of the cluster head, and 
 utilize the cluster head to coordinate one or more of producer mobility and consumer mobility. 
   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further to:
 select the cluster head based at least in part on computational resources of two or more cluster head candidates.   
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further to:
 identify popular information in a geo-location of the cluster head; and   utilize the cluster head to determine where to cache the popular information.   
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further to:
 provide one or more of service and resource availability-related information updates from each cluster member to the cluster head;   provide aggregated service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to the cluster members; and   provide additional service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to one or more neighbor cluster head.   
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further to:
 detect if a producer is moved out of the cluster;   utilize the cluster head to determine one or more cluster members for cache replacement of the moved producer within the cluster;   detect if a consumer is moved out of the cluster;   track a new target cluster for the moved consumer; and   forward interest packet-related information for the moved consumer towards the new target cluster.   
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry is further to:
 forward data based on cluster-related information.   
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the processing circuitry coupled to the one or more substrates includes transistor channel regions that are positioned within the one or more substrates. 
     
     
         8 . A method of vehicular networking, comprising:
 identifying a cluster head for a cluster of autonomous vehicles;   utilizing the cluster head to assist in-networking caching of one or more of data and functions;   utilizing the cluster head to coordinate discovery of one or more of an availability of functions, data cache resources, and compute resources in a proximity of the cluster head; and   utilizing the cluster head to coordinate one or more of producer mobility and consumer mobility.   
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 selecting the cluster head based at least in part on computational resources of two or more cluster head candidates.   
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 identifying popular information in a geo-location of the cluster head; and   utilizing the cluster head to determine where to cache the popular information.   
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 providing one or more of service and resource availability-related information updates from each cluster member to the cluster head;   providing aggregated service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to the cluster members; and   providing additional service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to one or more neighbor cluster head.   
     
     
         12 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 detecting if a producer is moved out of the cluster;   utilizing the cluster head to determine one or more cluster members for cache replacement of the moved producer within the cluster;   detecting if a consumer is moved out of the cluster;   tracking a new target cluster for the moved consumer; and   forwarding interest packet-related information for the moved consumer towards the new target cluster.   
     
     
         13 . The method of  claim 8 , further comprising:
 forwarding data based on cluster-related information.   
     
     
         14 . The method of  claim 8 , wherein the method is implemented in processing circuitry that is coupled to the one or more substrates includes transistor channel regions that are positioned within the one or more substrates. 
     
     
         15 . At least one non-transitory machine-readable medium including instructions for vehicular networking, the instructions, when executed by processing circuitry, cause the processing circuitry to perform operations comprising:
 selecting a cluster head for a cluster of autonomous vehicles;   assisting, using the cluster head, in-networking caching of one or more of data or functions;   coordinating discovery, using the cluster head, of one or more of an availability of functions, data cache resources, and compute resources in a proximity of the cluster head; and   coordinating, using the cluster head, one or more of producer mobility and consumer mobility.   
     
     
         16 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the operations comprise:
 selecting the cluster head based at least in part on computational resources of two or more cluster head candidates.   
     
     
         17 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the operations comprise:
 identifying popular information in a geo-location of the cluster head; and   determining, using the cluster head, where to cache the popular information.   
     
     
         18 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the operations comprise:
 instructing each cluster member to provide one or more of service and resource availability-related information updates;   providing aggregated service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to the cluster members; and   providing additional service and resource availability-related information from the cluster head to one or more neighbor cluster head.   
     
     
         19 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the operations comprise:
 detecting if a producer has moved out of the cluster;   determining one or more cluster members for cache replacement of the moved producer within the cluster;   detecting that a consumer has moved out of the cluster;   tracking a new target cluster for the moved consumer; and   forwarding interest packet-related information for the moved consumer towards the new target cluster.   
     
     
         20 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the operations comprise:
 forward data based on cluster-related information.   
     
     
         21 . The at least one non-transitory machine-readable medium of  claim 15 , wherein the processing circuitry is coupled to the one or more substrates includes transistor channel regions that are positioned within the one or more substrates.
