Room sensor applications and techniques
Abstract
The disclosure relates to a method, apparatus and system to provide automated audio video conferencing in a conference room. In an exemplary embodiment, the disclosure relates to a mobile device having one or more processors and circuitry. The circuitry may execute a first logic, a second logic and a third logic. The first logic may be configured to receive instructions to connect the mobile device to a wireless equipment in a conference room. The second logic may be configured to obtain conference room information. The third logic may be configured to transmit a request to pair with a wireless equipment in the conference room. The third logic may be further configured to: receive information in a first communication mode that a code challenge will be issued, receive a code challenge in the second communication mode and pair the mobile device with the wireless equipment.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . (canceled)
2 . An apparatus comprising:
memory to store instructions; and
at least one processor to execute the instructions to at least:
provide information to a mobile device in response to a request from the mobile device in a room, the information including an identification of the apparatus in the room;
pair, based on the information, with the mobile device; and
enable, while paired, control of the apparatus in the room by the mobile device.
3 . The apparatus of claim 2 , further including a wireless projector.
4 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the mobile device is at least one of a smartphone or a tablet computer.
5 . The apparatus of claim 2 , further including a wireless sensor to detect the mobile device.
6 . The apparatus of claim 2 , further including a first transceiver to communicate in a first communication mode and a second transceiver to communicate in a second communication mode.
7 . The apparatus of claim 6 , wherein the first communication mode is to detect the mobile device and the second communication mode is to pair with the mobile device.
8 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the apparatus is one of a plurality of wireless devices in the room, each of the plurality of wireless devices selectable by the mobile device.
9 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the at least one processor is to periodically broadcast the information in the room.
10 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the at least one processor is to facilitate an update of the mobile device based on the information.
11 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein the at least one processor is to facilitate an update of the apparatus based on the pairing with the mobile device.
12 . The apparatus of claim 2 , wherein control of the apparatus includes, in a presentation mode, adjusting lighting and a projection screen in the room by the mobile device.
13 . At least one storage device comprising instructions that, when executed, cause a wireless projector to at least:
provide information to a mobile device in response to a request from the mobile device in a room, the information including an identification of the wireless projector in the room; pair, based on the information, with the mobile device; and enable, while paired, control of the wireless projector in the room by the mobile device.
14 . The at least one storage device of claim 13 , wherein the mobile device is at least one of a smartphone or a tablet computer, wherein the wireless projector is one of a plurality of wireless devices in the room, each of the plurality of wireless devices selectable by the mobile device, and wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the wireless projector to periodically broadcast the information in the room.
15 . The at least one storage device of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the wireless projector to facilitate an update of the mobile device based on the information.
16 . The at least one storage device of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the wireless projector to facilitate an update of the wireless projector based on the pairing with the mobile device.
17 . The at least one storage device of claim 13 , wherein the instructions, when executed, cause the wireless projector to, in a presentation mode, facilitate adjustment of lighting and a projection screen in the room by the mobile device.
18 . A method to control equipment in a room, the method comprising:
providing, by executing an instruction using at least one processor, information to a mobile device in response to a request from the mobile device in the room, the information including an identification of equipment in the room; pairing, based on the information and by executing an instruction using the at least one processor, with the mobile device; and enabling, while paired and by executing an instruction using at least one processor, control of the equipment by the mobile device.
19 . The method of claim 18 , further including facilitating an update of the mobile device based on the information.
20 . The method of claim 18 , wherein enabling control includes, in a presentation mode, facilitating adjustment of lighting and a projection screen in the room by the mobile device.
21 . The method of claim 18 , further including facilitating an update of at least one of the mobile device or the equipment.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
