Abstract
An exercise machine may include a stationary frame, an inclinable portion movably connected to the stationary frame, and an incline mechanism connected to the stationary frame. The incline mechanism may include a coiling mechanism, a coiling rod of the coiling mechanism, a flexible coiling link movable with a rotation of the coiling rod, and where the flexible coiling link is connected to the inclinable portion.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A support structure for an exercise device, comprising:
a pivot beam; a cantilever connected to the pivot beam, the cantilever including a top side; a display including a backside, wherein a bottom edge of the display is engaged with a top side of the cantilever; a brace, including:
a first side pivotally connected to the cantilever; and
a second side pivotally connected to the backside of the display such that the display is movable between an operational position and a storage position.
2 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the top side of the cantilever includes a recess, and the bottom edge of the display is aligned with the recess to form a viewing angle.
3 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the top side of the cantilever produces friction with the bottom edge of the display to form a viewing angle.
4 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the top side of the cantilever engages with the bottom edge of the display with a Velcro surface.
5 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the bottom edge of the display is disengagable from the top side of the cantilever.
6 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the cantilever includes an opening in the top side, and wherein the display includes a guiding feature inserted into the opening.
7 . The support structure of claim 6 , wherein the opening interlocks with the guiding feature.
8 . The support structure of claim 6 , wherein the opening guides the guiding feature as the display is transitioned between an operational position and a storage position.
9 . The support structure of claim 6 , wherein, in the storage position, the brace is located in the opening.
10 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein, in the storage position, the display is vertical.
11 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein, in the storage position, the display is parallel to the cantilever.
12 . The support structure of claim 11 , wherein, in the storage position, the display and the cantilever are vertical.
13 . The support structure of claim 1 , wherein the cantilever is rotatable about the pivot beam.
14 . A wall mountable bracket for a treadmill, comprising:
a first side wall; a second side wall; a top cross member extending between the first side wall and the second side wall; a support structure, including:
a pivot beam located above the top cross member;
a cantilever rotatably connected to the pivot beam; and
a display connected to the cantilever through a brace, the display being rotatable connected to the brace, the brace being rotatably connected to the cantilever, wherein the display is positionable between an operational position and a storage position, wherein, in the storage position, the display is upright.
15 . The bracket of claim 14 , wherein the cantilever includes handles opposite the pivot beam, and wherein, in the storage position, an edge of the display is flush with the handles.
16 . The bracket of claim 14 , further comprising a treadmill deck rotatably movable between a deck operational position, and a deck storage position.
17 . The bracket of claim 16 , wherein, in the deck storage position, the treadmill deck covers the display in the storage position.
18 . A treadmill, comprising:
a wall mountable bracket; a treadmill deck; a pivot mechanism connected to the wall mountable bracket, wherein the treadmill deck is rotatable between an operational orientation and a storage orientation about the pivot mechanism; an incline mechanism incorporated into the wall mountable bracket; an arm support rotatably attached to the wall mountable bracket; and a display rotatably attached to the arm support between an operational position and a storage position, wherein, when the display is in the storage position, the display is aligned with the arm support and vertical, and wherein, when the treadmill deck is in the storage orientation, the treadmill deck at least partially covers the display in the storage position.
19 . The treadmill of claim 18 , wherein the display rests on top side of the arm support in the operational position.
20 . The treadmill of claim 18 , wherein the display is connected to the arm support with a brace.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
