Non-therapeutic method, uses of a substance that stimulates or generates an increase in volume

Abstract

The present invention aims to provide a non-surgical and non-therapeutic (cosmetic) method of dynamic three-dimensional facelift.

1 . A method for the performance of a dynamic three-dimensional facelift, said method comprising the following steps:
 creating a hole for the entrance of a cannula into a point of a face region, wherein the face region goes from the angle of the mandible to the temple;   introducing the cannula through the hole;   sliding the cannula through a subcutaneous region until it reaches a supra-auricular region (B), and   depositing an amount of a filler to the supra-auricular region (B), via the cannula, to generate an increase of volume in the subcutaneous region of the supra-auricular region (B).

         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the increase of volume in the subcutaneous region ranges from about 0.2 to 2.0 ml. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising the following steps:
 wherein the filler is applied in a bolus ranging from about 0.15 ml to 1.8 ml;   optionally performing a gentle digital pressure on the said bolus so that the filler disperses;   wherein the filler is deposited in the hole in order to reach a total increase of volume ranging from about 0.2 to 2.0 ml, with forward and backward movements of the cannula in the whole supra-auricular area, the anterosuperior limit being the area of hair implantation and the inferior limit being the tragus of the ear.   
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the hole for the entrance of the cannula in the temple region is located above the zygomatic bone. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the cannula is 18 G, 19 G, 20 G, 21 G, 22 G, 23 G, 24 G, 25 G, 26 G or even 27 G. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the total volume of filler ranges from about 0.2 ml to 2.0 ml. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the filler further comprises an anesthetic. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the application of the filler is performed with fan technique in the entire supra-auricular region. 
     
     
         10 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the application of the filler is performed with forward and backward movements, wherein said movements can be from the bottom to the top or from the top to the bottom. 
     
     
         11 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the filler is a polysaccharide. 
     
     
         12 . A method for treatment for global rejuvenation of the face, said method comprising the following steps:
 performing asepsis of the whole face and temporal region covered by hair;   creating a hole for the entrance of a cannula into a point of a face region, wherein the face region goes from the angle of the mandible to the temple;   introducing the cannula through the hole;   sliding the cannula through a subcutaneous region until it reaches a supra-auricular region (B); and   depositing an amount of a filler to the supra-auricular region (B), via the cannula, to generate an increase of volume in the subcutaneous region of the supra-auricular region (B).

         15 . The method of  claim 12  wherein the global rejuvenation of the face is dynamic.

         20 . The method of  claim 1 , further comprising the step of performing asepsis of the whole face and temporal region covered by hair, prior to the creating of the hole. 
     
     
         21 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the filler directly or indirectly stimulates or generates an increase of volume in a subcutaneous region of the supra-auricular region (B).
