Biopsy gun
Abstract
A biopsy gun having a cannula and a stylet guided in the cannula comprises the following a housing, a cannula carriage for moving the cannula, a stylet carriage for moving the stylet, a tensioning grip for tensioning the cannula carriage and the stylet carriage from an initial position into a tensioning position, and an engaging member that is provided on the tensioning grip and has recesses adapted to engage with corresponding projections of the cannula carriage and the stylet carriage. The engaging member is rotatably attached to the tensioning grip and is biased by a spring against a contact surface of the housing.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A biopsy gun having a cannula and a stylet guided in the cannula, the biopsy gun further comprising:
a housing, a cannula carriage for moving the cannula, a stylet carriage for moving the stylet, wherein the cannula carriage and the stylet carriage can be tensioned by a tensioning grip from an initial position into a tensioning position against respective springs, wherein the stylet carriage has a stylet snap-in hook that is engaged with a stylet carriage holding surface of the housing when the stylet carriage is in its tensioning position, wherein the cannula carriage has a cannula snap-in hook that is engaged with a cannula carriage holding surface of the housing when the cannula carriage is in its tensioning position, wherein the housing has a first key by the operation of which the engagement of the stylet snap-in hook with the stylet carriage holding surface by contact with the first key is released, and a second key by the operation of which the engagement of the cannula snap-in hook with the cannula carriage holding surface is released by contact with the second key, wherein the first key has a lug projecting under the second key, so that an operation of the second key leads to an operation of the first key.
2 . The biopsy gun according to claim 1 , wherein
the first and second keys are elastically connected to the housing via respective main connecting elements, and the first key is elastically attached to the housing via an additional connecting element, the additional connecting element being arranged at a location of the first key that is opposite to the location at which the first key, when operated, gets into contact with the stylet snap-in hook.
3 . The biopsy gun according to claim 2 , wherein
the location of the additional connecting element of the first key is closer to the main connecting element of the first key than the location at which the first key when operated gets into contact with the stylet snap-in hook.
4 . A biopsy gun having a cannula and a stylet guided in the cannula, the biopsy gun further comprising:
a housing, a cannula carriage for moving the cannula, and a stylet carriage for moving the stylet, wherein the cannula carriage and the stylet carriage can be tensioned by a tensioning grip from a initial position into a tensioning position against respective springs, wherein the cannula carriage has a first cannula snap-in hook that is engaged with a first cannula carriage holding surface of the housing when the cannula carriage is in its tensioning position, and the cannula carriage has a second cannula snap-in hook that is in engagement with a second cannula carriage holding surface of the housing when the cannula carriage is in its tensioning position, wherein the stylet carriage has a release element that releases the engagement of the second cannula snap-in hook with the second cannula carriage holding surface of the housing when the stylet carriage has been released from its tensioned position and has moved into its initial position while the cannula carriage is still in its tension position, wherein the release element has a lug and the housing has a recess into which the lug of the release element is immersed in the initial position of the stylet carriage.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
