Table game management system, game token, and inspection apparatus

Abstract

A table game management system according to the present invention includes: a camera that images a game token placed on a game table; and a management control device that grasps a type (10 points, 20 points, 100 points, 1,000 points, or the like) of the game token placed on the game table based on a color of a side face of the game token imaged by the camera.

         24 . A game token of a set of game tokens associated with multiple values, the game token comprising:
 a first color portion that extends in a circumferential direction of a side face of the game token, a first color of the first color portion is unique to a value of the game token; and   a second color portion that extends in the circumferential direction of the side face, a second color of the second color portion is independent of the value of the game token and is commonly used for multiple values of the set of game tokens.   
     
     
         25 . The game token according to  claim 24 , further comprising:
 a third color portion on the side face; and   wherein the first color potion is distinct from the second color portion; and   wherein the first color portion and the second color portion are on or visible via the side face.   
     
     
         26 . The game token according to  claim 24 , comprising a radio frequency identification (RFID) embedded therein. 
     
     
         27 . The game token according to  claim 24 , further comprising a mark for authenticating the game token. 
     
     
         28 . The game token according to  claim 24 , wherein the mark is invisible under natural light and visible when irradiated with ultraviolet light or infrared light. 
     
     
         29 . The game token according to  claim 24 , wherein the first color portion and the second color portion are aligned on the side face in an axial direction of the game token. 
     
     
         30 . The game token according to  claim 24 , wherein the side face includes a striped pattern on the side face, the stripped pattern including the first color portion and second color portion. 
     
     
         31 . The game token according to  claim 30 , wherein the side face includes:
 a first instance of the first portion; and   a second instance of the first portion that is distinct from the first instance.   
     
     
         32 . The game token according to  claim 30 , wherein the side face includes multiple instance of the second portion. 
     
     
         33 . The game token according to  claim 24 , wherein the first color portion is a first color layer, and the second color portion is a second color layer, and the first color layer and the second color layer are laminated together. 
     
     
         34 . The game token according to  claim 32 , wherein the first color layer and the second color layer are thermocompression bonded. 
     
     
         35 . The game token according to  claim 24 , wherein the game token includes an outermost layer that is transparent. 
     
     
         36 . The game token according to  claim 35 , wherein the transparent layer is embossed. 
     
     
         37 . The game token according to  claim 35 , wherein an end of the transparent layer is rounded. 
     
     
         38 . A game token having a side face on which there is, or via which is visible, a pattern that includes a first color that is unique to a type of the game token and a second color that is independent of the type of the game token, wherein the game token further has a mark on a surface, the mark representing information by shape or number of one or more elements of the mark. 
     
     
         39 . The game token according to  claim 38 , wherein the one or more elements are aligned along a circumference of the game token. 
     
     
         40 . The game token according to  claim 38 , further comprising a radio frequency identification (RFID) embedded therein, wherein the RFID is related to the first color or the mark. 
     
     
         41 . The game token according to  claim 38 , wherein the pattern is on the side face. 
     
     
         42 . A game token comprising:
 a first color portion that extends in a circumferential direction of a side face of the game token, a first color of the first color portion is unique to a value of the game token; and   a second color portion that extends in the circumferential direction of the side face, a second color of the second color portion is configured to be used as a reference to recognize the first color of the first color portion; and   wherein the first color of the first color portion is configured to be recognized based on a reading of both the first color portion and the second color portion.   
     
     
         43 . The game token according to  claim 42 , further comprising:
 a third color portion; and   wherein the first color potion is distinct from the second color portion; and   wherein the first color portion, the second color portion, and the third color portion are on the side face.
