Abstract
The present disclosure provides for a hair edge brush device for dispensing and applying a gel to one or more hairs of a user. The device includes an elongated annular handle body having a first end opposite a second end, the first end includes a reservoir for containing a gel and a movable ring wall defining a central orifice adapted for receiving a plunger body. The first end also includes a head having a top flat surface defining a plurality of apertures adapted for passage of the gel and a bottom surface having a plurality of firm bristles forming an edge element. The second end includes a hair parting element removably connected to the first end. The plunger body includes a threaded outer surface and the first end includes internal threads adapted to threadedly receive and secure the plunger body for refilling the reservoir with the gel.

1 . A hair edge brush device comprising:
an elongated annular handle body having a first end opposite a second end, said first end comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end and a ramped hollow neck portion disposed between the proximal end and the distal end; said proximal end comprising a reservoir and an annular sidewall defining said reservoir, said reservoir having a longitudinal axis, said reservoir adapted to contain a gel; said proximal end comprising a movable ring wall defining a central orifice, said proximal end comprising a plunging pin operatively engaging said movable ring wall, said plunging pin being moveable from an open position to a closed position, wherein the plunging pin obstructs said central orifice of the movable ring wall when in the closed position, wherein the plunging pin unobstructs said central orifice of the ring wall when in the open position to allow for passage of said gel through said central orifice, such that in the closed position said movable ring wall and said plunging pin are adapted for containing said gel within said reservoir and are adapted for slidable movement along the longitudinal axis for advancing said gel along said longitudinal axis of the reservoir; said distal end comprising a head having a top flat surface opposite a bottom surface, said top flat surface defining a plurality of apertures adapted for passage of the gel, said bottom surface having a plurality of firm bristles forming an edge element adapted to tame at least one or more fly-a-way hairs of a user, said plurality of firm bristles respectively oriented along a first axis characterized as diagonal relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein said ramped hollow neck portion is adapted for passage of the gel from the reservoir to the plurality of apertures defined by the head; the second end comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end, said distal end comprising a hair parting element, said hair parting element having a top flat surface opposite a curvilinear bottom surface, wherein said hair parting element adapted for curling at least one or more hairs of the user; and said proximal end of the first end removably connected to said proximal end of the second end by a snap ring connection.

The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , wherein the distal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body having a flat side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along a second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis.

The hair edge brush device of claim 2 , wherein the distal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body having a ramped side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along the second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis.
4 . The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , further comprising a plunger body having a threaded outer surface, wherein the proximal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body comprises internal threads adapted to threadedly receive and secure the plunger body.
5 . The hair edge brush device of claim 4 , wherein said plunger body comprising a proximal insertion end opposite a distal plunging end, said proximal insertion end comprising a plunging reservoir having an interior annular wall, said plunging reservoir adapted to contain the gel.
6 . The hair edge brush device of claim 5 , wherein said proximal insertion end adapted to engagingly fit the central orifice for refilling the reservoir with the gel, wherein said distal plunging end comprises a plunging member disposed within the plunging reservoir, said plunging member adapted to closely align with the interior annular wall upon annular movement therein.
7 . The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , wherein the snap ring connection comprises an annular ring having a grooved surface adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
8 . The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , further comprising a proximal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the first end, said proximal tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
9 . The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , further comprising a distal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the second end, said tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
10 . The hair edge brush device of claim 1 , wherein the plurality of firm bristles are arranged in side-by-side rows and columns, said plurality of firm bristles forming the edge element are boar hair.
11 . A hair edge brush device comprising:
an elongated annular handle body having a first end opposite a second end, said first end comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end and a ramped hollow neck portion disposed between the proximal end and the distal end; said proximal end comprising a reservoir and an annular sidewall defining said reservoir, said reservoir having a longitudinal axis, said reservoir adapted to contain a gel;
said proximal end comprising a movable ring wall defining a central orifice, said
movable ring wall defining an interior passageway, the proximal end comprising a plunging pin operatively engaging the interior passageway of said movable ring wall, said plunging pin being slidably moveable within the interior passageway from an open position to a closed position, wherein the plunging pin obstructs said central orifice of the ring wall when in the closed position, wherein the plunging pin unobstructs said central orifice of the ring wall when in the open position to allow for passage of said gel through said central orifice, such that in the closed position said movable ring wall and said plunging pin are adapted for containing said gel within said reservoir and are adapted for slidable movement along the longitudinal axis for advancing said gel along said longitudinal axis of the reservoir;
said distal end comprising a head having a top flat surface opposite a bottom surface and a flat side surface opposite a ramped side surface, said top flat surface defining a plurality of apertures adapted for passage of the gel, said bottom surface having a plurality of firm bristles forming an edge element adapted to tame at least one or more fly-a-way hairs of a user, said plurality of firm bristles respectively oriented along a first axis characterized as diagonal relative to the longitudinal axis, said flat side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along a second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis, said ramped side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along a the second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein said ramped hollow neck portion is adapted for passage of the gel from the reservoir to the plurality of aperture defined by the head;
the second end of the elongated annular handle body comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end, said distal end comprising a hair parting element, said hair parting element having a top flat surface opposite a curvilinear bottom surface, wherein said hair parting element adapted for curling one or more hairs of the user; and said proximal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body removably connected to said proximal end of the second end of the elongated annular handle body by a snap ring connection.
12 . The hair edge brush device of claim 11 , further comprising a plunger body having a threaded outer surface, wherein the proximal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body comprises internal threads adapted to threadedly receive and secure the plunger body.
13 . The hair edge brush device of claim 12 , wherein said plunger body comprising a plunging reservoir having an interior annular wall, said plunging reservoir adapted to contain the gel.
14 . The hair edge brush device of claim 13 , wherein the plunger body comprises a proximal insertion end opposite a distal plunging end, said proximal insertion end adapted to engagingly fit the central orifice for refilling the reservoir with the gel, wherein said distal plunging end comprises a plunging member disposed within the plunging reservoir, said plunging member adapted to closely align with the interior annular wall upon annular movement therein.
15 . The hair edge brush device of claim 11 , wherein the snap ring connection comprises an annular ring having a grooved surface adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
16 . The hair edge brush device of claim 11 , further comprising a proximal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the first end, said proximal tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
17 . The hair edge brush device of claim 11 , further comprising a distal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the second end, said distal tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
18 . The hair edge brush device of claim 11 , wherein the plurality of firm bristles are arranged in side-by-side rows and columns, said plurality of firm bristles forming the edge element are boar hair.
19 . A hair edge brush device comprising:
an elongated annular handle body having a first end opposite a second end, said first end comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end and a ramped hollow neck portion disposed between the proximal end and the distal end;
said proximal end comprising a reservoir and an annular sidewall defining said reservoir, said reservoir having a longitudinal axis, said reservoir adapted to contain a gel;
said proximal end comprising a movable ring wall defining a central orifice, said proximal end comprising a plunging pin operatively engaging said movable ring wall, said plunging pin being moveable from an open position to a closed position, wherein the plunging pin obstructs said central orifice of the ring wall when in the closed position, wherein the plunging pin unobstructs said central orifice of the ring wall when in the open position to allow for passage of said gel through said central orifice, such that in the closed position said movable ring wall and said plunging pin are adapted for containing said gel within said reservoir and are adapted for slidable movement along the longitudinal axis for advancing said gel along said longitudinal axis of the reservoir;
said distal end comprising a head having a top flat surface opposite a bottom surface, said top flat surface defining a plurality of apertures adapted for passage of the gel, said bottom surface having a plurality of firm bristles forming an edge element adapted to tame at least one or more fly-a-way hairs of a user, said plurality of firm bristles respectively oriented along a first axis characterized as diagonal relative to the longitudinal axis, wherein said ramped hollow neck portion is adapted for passage of the gel from the reservoir to the plurality of aperture defined by the head;
the second end comprising a proximal end opposite a distal end, said distal end comprising a hair parting element, said hair parting element having a top flat surface opposite a curvilinear bottom surface, wherein said hair parting element adapted for curling at least one or more hairs of the user; said proximal end of the first end removably connected to said proximal end of the second end by a snap ring connection; and a plunger body comprising a proximal insertion end opposite a distal plunging end, said proximal insertion end comprising a plunging reservoir having an interior annular wall, said plunging reservoir adapted to contain the gel, the proximal insertion end comprising a threaded outer surface, wherein the proximal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body comprises internal threads adapted to threadedly receive and secure the plunger body;
said proximal insertion end adapted to engagingly fit the central orifice for refilling the reservoir with the gel, wherein said distal plunging end comprises a plunging member disposed within the plunging reservoir, said plunging member adapted to closely align with the interior annular wall upon annular movement therein.

The hair edge brush device of claim 19 , wherein the distal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body having a flat side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along a second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis.

The hair edge brush device of claim 20 , wherein the distal end of the first end of the elongated annular handle body having a ramped side surface comprising a plurality of comb like tines extending from said head along the second axis characterized as perpendicular relative to the longitudinal axis.
22 . The hair edge brush device of claim 19 , wherein the snap ring connection comprises an annular ring having a grooved surface adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
23 . The hair edge brush device of claim 19 , further comprising a proximal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the first end, said proximal tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
24 . The hair edge brush device of claim 19 , further comprising a distal tubular grip disposed around an exterior surface of the proximal end of the second end, said distal tubular grip adapted for gripping by a hand of the user.
