Abstract

This gun holster features a unique security design comprising of a dual retention locking system which includes a non-mechanical thumb retention-and-release system along with a non-mechanical friction engaged trigger guard locking safety feature. The holster is made of a moldable thermoplastic material or any other plastic which allows the non-mechanical thumb retention-and-release system and the friction engaged trigger guard locking safety feature to be customized to each firearm. The dual retention system with no moving parts allows the gun to be released by the owner due to the action that can only be taken by the person wearing the holster due to the positioning of these security features. The unique design of the holster along with the non-mechanical dual retention locking system allows for optimal security of a firearm preventing an accidental or unauthorized extraction of a weapon.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . Non-Mechanical thumb retention-and-release security holster is a tactical moldable holster with a security feature consisting of a non-mechanical double retention locking system with a built in thumb retention-and release security feature along with a non-mechanical friction engaged trigger guard locking safety feature that molds to the firearm.

2 . The said holster of claim 1 features a unique design to prevent accidental or unauthorized extraction of a weapon from the said holster.

3 . The unique design of said holster of claim 2 features a non-mechanical thumb retention-and-release feature further securing a firearm preventing accidental extractions or unauthorized extractions by a third party.

4 . The said holster of claim 3 features a friction engaged trigger guard locking security feature consisting of no mechanical or moving parts and molds to the firearm for this security feature. The molding of the thermoplastic in and around the trigger guard of the gun, produces a memory form of said trigger guard. The friction of said gun passing through the memory form of said thermoplastic will create a locking fit of said trigger guard and securely hold the gun without mechanical parts.

5 . The material of said holster of claim 4 is made with a moldable thermoplastic material or any other equivalent type of moldable material allowing each type of firearm to have a customized security fit inside the said holster.

6 . Included in the thermoplastic moldable custom design of the said holster in claim 5 allows for each type of firearm to have the dual retention locking system.

7 . The custom safety feature of claim 6 includes a non-mechanical thumb retention-and-release feature incorporated into each said holster allowing for the optimal security and safety of the firearm.

8 . The said holster of claim 7 is constructed with a thermoplastic type material or any other equivalent moldable type material allowing the said holster to be molded to any firearm with the safety feature build into each said holster comprised of a non-mechanical thumb retention-and-release for each said holster and type of firearm.

9 . The said holster of claim 8 constructed of a moldable thermoplastic material incorporates a non-mechanical trigger guard locking system which is built into the said holster thus providing a dual locking system.

10 . The moldable thermoplastic holster of claim 9 with the built in thumb retention-and-release system along with the trigger guard safety feature allows the gun to be released by the owner due to the motion and direction of the action that can only be taken by the owner due to the positioning of these security features both of which consist of no moving parts and are molded to the firearm for optimal security.

11 . The thumb retention-and-release feature and trigger guard system of claim 10 incorporates a double retention security feature with a nonmechanical locking system which molds to the firearm body locking the weapon in place providing double security.

12 . The moldable thermoplastic holster of all above claims differs from the other safety features for thermoplastic holsters due to no mechanical or moving parts incorporated into this moldable design therefore making the said holster unique further incorporating safety into this design by double locking the retention point into the body of the said holster preventing accidental or unauthorized extractions of a person's firearm with this said designed holster.
