Abstract
Directional environmental control provides nearly immediate comfort. A location associated with a mobile device determines an air terminal that best serves the location. Conditioned air may thus be streamed from the air terminal to the location associated with the mobile device. The conditioned air may be heated or cooled according to a profile associated with a user of the mobile device.

receiving, by a climate control system, a location of a mobile device; predicting, by the climate control system, a predicted location of the mobile device; identifying, by the climate control system, an air terminal associated with the predicted location of the mobile device; determining, by the climate control system, an air flow vector from the air terminal to the predicted location of the mobile device; and outputting, by the climate control system, air from the air terminal according to the air flow vector.
2 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the predicting further comprises using historical global positioning system (GPS) information to infer the predicted location.
3 . The method of claim 2 , wherein the predicted location is determined from a track of a recent series of GPS information matching a series of the historical GPS information.
4 . The method of claim 3 , wherein the predicted location is an upcoming location in the series of the historical GPS information.
5 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the predicting further comprises using wireless network identifiers to infer the predicted location.
6 . The method of claim 5 , wherein the predicted location is determined from a track of a recent series of wireless network identifiers matching a series of historical wireless network identifiers.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the predicted location is determined from a track of a recent series of air terminals matching a historical series of air terminals assigned to the mobile device.
8 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising conditioning the air.
9 . The method of claim 1 , further comprising determining a temperature associated with the mobile device.
10 . A method, comprising:
receiving, by a server providing a cloud-based climate control service, locations of mobile devices; predicting, by the server providing the cloud-based climate control service, a predicted location of a first mobile device of the mobile devices; identifying, by the server providing the cloud-based climate control service, an air terminal that serves the predicted location; determining, by the server providing the cloud-based climate control service, an air flow vector from the air terminal to the predicted location of the first mobile device; and sending, by the server providing the cloud-based climate control service, the air flow vector to a climate control system.
11 . The method of claim 10 , further comprising retrieving a command associated with the air flow vector.
12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sending the command to a climate control system.
13 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sending the command to at least one of the mobile devices.
14 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising sending the command to a network address associated with a climate control system.
15 . A system, comprising:
a hardware processor; and a memory device, the memory device storing instructions, the instructions when executed causing the hardware processor to perform operations, the operations comprising:
receiving a command associated with an air flow vector, wherein the air flow vector is from an air terminal to a predicted location of a mobile device, wherein the predicted location is determined from a track of a series of locations of the mobile device matching a series of historical location information; and
commanding the air terminal to output an air flow according to the air flow vector by sending the command to the air terminal.
16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise executing the command.
17 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise aiming the air terminal according to the air flow vector.
18 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise conditioning the air.
19 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the operations further comprise determining a temperature associated with the mobile device.
