Method of applying cosmetics

Abstract

A method for forming or shaping an eyebrow consisting of providing an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material, preferably in pencil form, having a color that matches the color of the skin surrounding the eyebrow and then applying that adhesive material to the skin surrounding the eyebrow, and if necessary to portions of the eyebrow, to form an outline of a desired eyebrow, to create a skin-toned adhesive surface on which to apply makeup. An eye shadow is then selected that matches the desired hair color for the eyebrow. The eye shadow powder is applied inside the formed outline of the brow and to portions of the adhesive surface to create the desired eyebrow. The eye shadow may be applied by a pencil or in powder form.Such a technique may also be used to color and shape the lips. The skin-toned emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material, preferably in pencil form, is selected to match the color of skin surrounding the lips and is applied to the skin surrounding the lips and to portions of the lips to form a desired outline for the lips. When applied, adhesive material creates an adhesive surface. A lip liner or lip stick is selected to match the desired color of the lips and applied to the lips within the formed outline and to portions of the skin-toned adhesive so as to create the desired lips.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A method of forming or shaping an eyebrow on a person, comprising:
 providing an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material having a color that substantially matches the person's skin color surrounding the eyebrow and capable of creating adhesive surface when applied to the eyebrow and skin surrounding the eyebrow;   applying the wax adhesive material to the skin surrounding the eyebrow, and along an exterior outline of the eyebrow to create an adhesive surface on the skin surrounding the eyebrow and along the exterior outline of the eyebrow;   providing an eye shadow having a color that matches a desired hair color of the eyebrow;   applying the eye shadow over the adhesive surface on the skin surrounding the eyebrow and along the exterior outline of the eyebrow, the eye shadow adhering to the adhesive surface to thereby form the desired form or shape and color of the eyebrow.   
     
     
         2 . A method of forming or shaping an eyebrow on a person, comprising:
 providing an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material having a color that substantially matches the person's skin color surrounding the eyebrow and capable of creating adhesive surfaces when applied to the eyebrow, any skin within the eyebrow where hair is sparse or missing and skin surrounding the eyebrow;   applying the wax adhesive material to portions of the eyebrow, including the skin within the eyebrow where hair is sparse or missing, to create an adhesive surface on the skin within the eyebrow; and   applying the wax adhesive material the skin surrounding the eyebrow, and along an exterior outline of the eyebrow to create an adhesive surface on the skin surrounding the eyebrow and along the exterior outline of the eyebrow;   providing an eye shadow having a color that matches a desired hair color of the eyebrow;   applying the eye shadow over the adhesive surface on the skin within the eyebrow and on the skin surrounding the eyebrow and along the exterior outline of the eyebrow, the eye shadow adhering to the to the adhesive surface to thereby form the desired form or shape and color of the eyebrow.   
     
     
         3 . The method according to  claim 2 , wherein the adhesive surfaces are not connected as a solid surface or outline. 
     
     
         4 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the wax adhesive material is a pencil containing the wax adhesive material. 
     
     
         5 . The method according to  claim 1 , further including the step of applying the eye shadow with a brush. 
     
     
         6 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the eye shadow is a powdered eye shadow. 
     
     
         7 . The method according to  claim 1 , further comprising a step of wiping away the applied wax adhesive material if applied to an undesired portion of either the eyebrow or skin. 
     
     
         8 . The method according to  claim 1 , wherein the wax adhesive material is applied in feather-like patterns. 
     
     
         9 . A method of forming or shaping lips on a person, comprising:
 providing an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material having a color that substantially matches the person's skin color surrounding the lips and capable of creating adhesive surfaces when applied to the skin surrounding the lips;   applying the wax adhesive material the skin surrounding the lips, and along an exterior outline of the lips to create an adhesive surface on the skin surrounding the lips and along the exterior outline of the lips;   providing a lip liner or lipstick having a color that matches a desired lip color for the lips;   applying the lip liner or lipstick over the adhesive surface on the skin surrounding the lip and along the exterior outline of the lip, the lip liner or lipstick adhering to the to the adhesive surface to thereby form the desired form or shape and color of the lip.   
     
     
         10 . The method according to  claim 9 , further including the step of applying the wax adhesive material with a pencil containing the wax adhesive material. 
     
     
         11 . The method according to  claim 9  further including the step of wiping away the adhesive material if the adhesive material is applied to an undesired portion of the lip and/or skin. 
     
     
         12 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the applied adhesive material creates a crisp outside perimeter line of the lip and prevents the lip liner or lipstick from bleeding into the lip. 
     
     
         13 . The method according to  claim 9 , wherein the applied adhesive material hides ridge marks and wrinkles around the lips of the individual. 
     
     
         14 . A kit for forming or shaping eyebrows and lips, the kit comprising:
 a. a pencil containing an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material that matches a person's skin-tone that can create an adhesive surface as a base on which to apply color makeup for the eyebrows and lips;   b. at least one brush having both a sharp flat bristle structure on one end and a one fuller angled bush on the other end.   
     
     
         15 . A pencil applicator consisting of a pencil shaped retainer that includes an emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material having a color that substantially matches a person's skin color, wherein when applied to the skin creates an adhesive surface for a subsequently applied cosmetic. 
     
     
         16 . A pencil applicator consisting of a pencil shaped retainer that includes a transparent emollient free, hard-form, non-liquid wax adhesive material, wherein when applied to a person's skin creates a transparent adhesive surface for a subsequently applied cosmetic.
