Abstract

A computer-implemented method for authorizing access to transaction data to a third-party computer system is implemented by a payment processor computer system coupled to a memory. The method includes receiving a request for access to transaction data associated with a cardholder account, requesting a set of authentication information associated with the cardholder account, authenticating the set of authentication information upon receiving the set of authentication information, and authorizing the third-party computer system to receive transaction data associated with the cardholder account. Upon validation, the payment processor computer system generates an authorization token and provides the authorization token to the third-party computer system. The third-party computer system uses the authorization token and a secure identifier to retrieve transaction data associated with the cardholder account.

         21 . A value-added services (VAS) computer system for accessing anonymized transaction data, the VAS computer system comprising at least one processor in communication with a memory device, the at least one processor configured to:
 generate a secure identifier identifying a VAS account established between the VAS computer system and a cardholder computing device associated with a cardholder;   transmit, via a VAS application executing on the VAS computer system, a request to a payment processor computer system, the request for access to the anonymized transaction data and including the secure identifier;   receive a request form served by the payment processor computer system, the request form configured to request and receive a set of cardholder authentication information input from the cardholder, the request form in an embeddable frame to (a) embed the request form in the VAS application for presentation by the VAS computer system to the cardholder computing device and (b) communicate the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device directly to the payment processor computer system such that the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device bypasses the VAS application and the VAS computer system; and   serve the request form to the cardholder computing device.   
     
     
         22 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the secure identifier does not contain any information directly identifying a cardholder account of the cardholder and does not contain any information directly identifying the cardholder. 
     
     
         23 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
 receive a registration request from the cardholder computing device, the registration request including a set of information associated with the cardholder; and   create, using the set of information, the VAS account.   
     
     
         24 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
 automatically generate a set of information associated with the cardholder;   transmit the set of information to the cardholder computing device; and   create, using the set of information, the VAS account.   
     
     
         25 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to:
 receive, from the cardholder computing device, a designation of a particular payment network associated with a cardholder account of the cardholder;   identify the payment processor computer system based on the designation; and   transmit the request to the payment processor computer system based on the particular payment network designated.   
     
     
         26 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the at least one processor is further configured to associate the VAS account with the secure identifier by writing a record in account records stored in a database in communication with the at least one processor. 
     
     
         27 . The VAS computer system of  claim 21 , wherein the VAS application provides an interface between the cardholder computing device and the at least one processor, and wherein the at least one processor is further configured to serve the request form to the cardholder computing device in a format integrated with the VAS application. 
     
     
         28 . A computer-implemented method for accessing anonymized transaction data, the method implemented by a value-added services (VAS) computer system including at least one processor in communication with a memory device, the method comprising:
 generate a secure identifier identifying a VAS account established between the VAS computer system and a cardholder computing device associated with a cardholder;   transmit, via a VAS application executing on the VAS computer system, a request to a payment processor computer system, the request for access to the anonymized transaction data and including the secure identifier;   receive a request form served by the payment processor computer system, the request form configured to request and receive a set of cardholder authentication information input from the cardholder, the request form in an embeddable frame to (a) embed the request form in the VAS application for presentation by the VAS computer system to the cardholder computing device and (b) communicate the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device directly to the payment processor computer system such that the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device bypasses the VAS application and the VAS computer system; and   serve the request form to the cardholder computing device.   
     
     
         29 . The method of  claim 28 , wherein the secure identifier does not contain any information directly identifying a cardholder account of the cardholder and does not contain any information directly identifying the cardholder. 
     
     
         30 . The method of  claim 28  further comprising:
 receiving a registration request from the cardholder computing device, the registration request including a set of information associated with the cardholder; and 
 creating, using the set of information, the VAS account. 
 
     
     
         31 . The method of  claim 28  further comprising:
 automatically generating a set of information associated with the cardholder; 
 transmitting the set of information to the cardholder computing device; and 
 creating, using the set of information, the VAS account. 
 
     
     
         32 . The method of  claim 28  further comprising:
 receiving, from the cardholder computing device, a designation of a particular payment network associated with a cardholder account of the cardholder; 
 identifying the payment processor computer system based on the designation; and 
 transmitting the request to the payment processor computer system based on the particular payment network designated. 
 
     
     
         33 . The method of  claim 28  further comprising associating the VAS account with the secure identifier by writing a record in account records stored in a database in communication with the at least one processor. 
     
     
         34 . The method of  claim 28 , wherein the VAS application provides an interface between the cardholder computing device and the at least one processor, and wherein the at least one processor is further configured to serve the request form to the cardholder computing device in a format integrated with the VAS application. 
     
     
         35 . At least one non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions thereon for accessing anonymized transaction data, wherein when executed by at least one processor included in a value-added services (VAS) computer system and in communication with a memory device, the computer-executable instructions cause the at least one processor to:
 generate a secure identifier identifying a VAS account established between the VAS computer system and a cardholder computing device associated with a cardholder;   transmit, via a VAS application executing on the VAS computer system, a request to a payment processor computer system, the request for access to the anonymized transaction data and including the secure identifier;   receive a request form served by the payment processor computer system, the request form configured to request and receive a set of cardholder authentication information input from the cardholder, the request form in an embeddable frame to (a) embed the request form in the VAS application for presentation by the VAS computer system to the cardholder computing device and (b) communicate the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device directly to the payment processor computer system such that the set of cardholder authentication information input at the cardholder computing device bypasses the VAS application and the VAS computer system; and   serve the request form to the cardholder computing device.   
     
     
         36 . The computer-readable storage medium of  claim 35 , wherein the secure identifier does not contain any information directly identifying a cardholder account of the cardholder and does not contain any information directly identifying the cardholder. 
     
     
         37 . The computer-readable storage medium of  claim 35 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
 receive a registration request from the cardholder computing device, the registration request including a set of information associated with the cardholder; and   create, using the set of information, the VAS account.   
     
     
         38 . The computer-readable storage medium of  claim 35 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
 automatically generate a set of information associated with the cardholder;   transmit the set of information to the cardholder computing device; and   create, using the set of information, the VAS account.   
     
     
         39 . The computer-readable storage medium of  claim 35 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to:
 receive, from the cardholder computing device, a designation of a particular payment network associated with a cardholder account of the cardholder;   identify the payment processor computer system based on the designation; and   transmit the request to the payment processor computer system based on the particular payment network designated.   
     
     
         40 . The computer-readable storage medium of  claim 35 , wherein the computer-executable instructions further cause the at least one processor to associate the VAS account with the secure identifier by writing a record in account records stored in a database in communication with the at least one processor.
