Abstract

A propulsion system assembly includes a propeller, a motor configured to drive the propeller to rotate, and a locking mechanism configured to detachably lock the propeller to the motor. The propeller includes one of a first body and a second body. The motor includes another one of the first body and the second body. The locking mechanism includes a coupling member including a femoral position groove, a fastener configured to fix the coupling member to the second body, and a locking member configured to lock the first body to the coupling member and the second body. A bottom portion of the first body that contacts the coupling member includes a protruding rib configured to fit with the femoral position groove to restrain the first body from rotating relative to the coupling member.

wherein a bottom portion of the first body that contacts the coupling member includes a protruding rib configured to fit with the femoral position groove to restrain the first body from rotating relative to the coupling member.

2 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 1 , wherein:
the fastener includes a threaded fastener; the second body includes a first threaded hole configured to fit with the fastener; and the coupling member includes a second threaded hole configured to fit with the fastener.

3 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 2 , wherein:
the first body includes a blocking member disposed at the bottom portion of the first body and protruding from the bottom portion.

4 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 3 , wherein:
the blocking member is disposed at an opening location of the second threaded hole to block a free end of the fastener to restrain the fastener from falling out from the opening location of the second threaded hole.

5 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 4 , wherein:
a distance between a bottom portion of the blocking member and the free end of the fastener is smaller than a depth by which the fastener is inserted into the first threaded hole.

6 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 4 , wherein:
a bottom portion of the blocking member is configured to directly abut against the free end of the fastener to limit a moving space of the fastener.

7 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 1 , wherein:
the locking member includes locking parts located at at least two sides of the locking member and configured to lock the first body and the coupling member with the second body from at least two locations or directions.

8 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 7 , wherein each of the locking parts includes:
a first lock catch end configured to lock the first body; a second lock catch end configured to lock the second body; and a third lock catch end configured to lock the coupling member and the first body.

9 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 8 , wherein for each of the locking parts:
the first lock catch end and the second lock catch end are located at an upper end and a lower end of the locking part; and the third lock catch end is disposed between the first lock catch end and the second lock catch end.

10 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 8 , wherein:
the first lock catch end includes a first groove; the second lock catch end includes a second groove; and openings of the first groove and the second groove have opposite directions.

11 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 10 , wherein:
the first groove is configured to apply a downward pressing force on the first body; and the second groove is configured to apply an upward pulling force on the second body.

12 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 8 , wherein:
the third catch end includes a protrusion configured to abut with the coupling member to further lock the first body and the coupling member.

13 . The propulsion system assembly of claim 12 , wherein:
the coupling member includes a receiving space configured to receive the protrusion.
