Abstract

A method of lightening skin or reducing internal or external oxidation of a cell of skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin a composition consisting of Terminalia ferdinandiana fruit extract, glycerin, water, and optionally alcohol.

1 . A method of lightening skin or reducing internal or external oxidation of a cell of skin, the method comprising topically applying to the skin a composition consisting of  Terminalia ferdinandiana  fruit extract, glycerin, water, and optionally alcohol. 
     
     
         2 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition does not have alcohol. 
     
     
         3 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition has alcohol. 
     
     
         4 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the skin has uneven skin tone, and wherein the composition is applied to the skin having uneven skin tone. 
     
     
         5 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the skin has an age spot, a skin discoloration, or a freckle, and wherein the composition is applied to the age spot or freckle. 
     
     
         6 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the skin is hyperpigmented skin. 
     
     
         7 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition reduces internal or external oxidation of a cell of the skin. 
     
     
         8 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is a solution. 
     
     
         9 . The method of  claim 1 , wherein the composition is in liquid form.
