Abstract
A method of lightening skin or reducing internal or external oxidation of a cell of skin is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to the skin a composition consisting of Terminalia ferdinandiana fruit extract, glycerin, water, and optionally alcohol.

6 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the skin is hyperpigmented skin.
7 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition reduces internal or external oxidation of a cell of the skin.
8 . The method of claim 1 , wherein the composition is a solution.
