Display device

Abstract

A display device comprises a blue sub-pixel, a green sub-pixel and a red sub-pixel. The blue sub-pixel comprises a plurality of first light emitting units in a number of N, the green sub-pixel comprises a plurality of second light emitting units in a number of N2, and the red sub-pixel comprises a plurality of third light emitting units in a number of N3, wherein Ni is less than N2, and Ni is less than N3.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A display device, comprising:
 a blue sub-pixel comprising a plurality of first light emitting units in a number of N1;   a green sub-pixel comprising a plurality of second light emitting units in a number of N2; and   a red sub-pixel comprising a plurality of third light emitting units in a number of N3, wherein N1<N2 and N1<N3.   
     
     
         2 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting units, the second light emitting units and the third light emitting units are light emitting diodes (LEDs) in a bar form with a diameter in a range of 50 to 3000 nm. 
     
     
         3 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting units, the second light emitting units and the third light emitting units are light emitting diodes in a bar form with a thickness in a range of 1.63 to 5.5 μm. 
     
     
         4 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting units, the second light emitting units and the third light emitting units emit lights in a color of blue, green and red respectively. 
     
     
         5 . The display device according to  claim 4 , wherein N3/N1 is between 1.21 and 6.06. 
     
     
         6 . The display device according to  claim 4 , wherein N2/N1 is greater than or equal to 1.05 and less than or equal to 2.76. 
     
     
         7 . The display device according to  claim 1 , wherein the first light emitting units, the second light emitting units and the third light emitting units all emit lights in a color of blue, and a green wavelength conversion layer and a red wavelength conversion layer are so arranged that the blue light from the second light emitting units and the blue light from the third light emitting units go through the green wavelength conversion layer and red wavelength conversion layer respectively. 
     
     
         8 . The display device according to  claim 7 , wherein N3/N1 is between 1.52 and 2.53. 
     
     
         9 . The display device according to  claim 8 , wherein N3/N1 is between 1.73 and 2.09. 
     
     
         10 . The display device according to  claim 7 , wherein N2/N1 is between 2.1 and 3.68. 
     
     
         11 . The display device according to  claim 10 , wherein N2/N1 is between 2.46 and 2.95.
