Abstract
Methods and devices are provided for establishing a classic Bluetooth connection between dual-mode Bluetooth devices. In one aspect, a method includes receiving, by a first dual-mode Bluetooth device, a Bluetooth low energy advertising packet sent by a second dual-mode Bluetooth device; determining, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, a status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet; and prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device, a user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to establish a classic Bluetooth connection between the first dual-mode Bluetooth device and the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.

2 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises at least one of:
a searchable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; a connectable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; or a status of a connection between another Bluetooth device and the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.
3 . The method according to claim 2 , wherein prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device, user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises:
when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be searched, prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, the user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to set the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to a searchable state; or when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be connected, prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, the user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to set the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to a connectable state.
4 . The method according to claim 3 ,
wherein the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be searched the second dual-mode Bluetooth device is not in an inquiry scan state; and wherein the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be connected when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device is not in an page scan state.
5 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:
determining, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, application program information corresponding to the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet; and prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, the user to download and install the application program, when the application is not installed in the first dual-mode Bluetooth device; or prompting, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, the user to open the application program, when the application is installed in the first dual-mode Bluetooth device.
6 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein the method further comprises:
determining, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, a status of a connection between another Bluetooth device and the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet; and displaying, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, an interface according to the status of a connection.
7 . The method according to claim 1 , wherein determining, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet, comprises:
determining, by the first dual-mode Bluetooth device, the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to a reserved field in a data field in an existing advertising packet, an idle field and an extensible field in another field, or a user-defined field reserved in a vendor field of the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet.
8 . A method for establishing a classic Bluetooth connection between dual-mode Bluetooth devices, comprising:
sending, by a second dual-mode Bluetooth device, a Bluetooth low energy advertising packet to a first dual-mode Bluetooth device, wherein:
based on the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet, a status of the classic Bluetooth connection of the second dual Bluetooth device is determined; and
based on the status of the classic Bluetooth connection of the second dual Bluetooth device, a user is promoted to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device so as to establish a classic Bluetooth connection between the first dual-mode Bluetooth device and the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.
9 . The method according to claim 8 , wherein the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises at least one of:
a searchable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; a connectable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; and a status of a connection between another Bluetooth device and the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.
10 . A dual-mode Bluetooth device, comprising:
a transceiver, configured to receive a Bluetooth low energy advertising packet sent by a second dual-mode Bluetooth device; at least one processor and one or more memories coupled to the at least one processor and storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
determine a status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet; and
prompt, according to the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device, a user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to establish a classic Bluetooth connection between the first dual-mode Bluetooth device and the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.
11 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 10 , wherein the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises at least one of:
a searchable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; a connectable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device; or a status of a connection between another Bluetooth device and the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device.
12 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 11 , wherein the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises a searchable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device, and
the one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to: prompt the user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to set the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to a searchable state, when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be searched.
13 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 11 , wherein the status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device comprises a connectable status of the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device, and
the one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to prompt the user to operate the first dual-mode Bluetooth device or the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to set the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device to a connectable state, when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be connected for.
14 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 12 , wherein the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be searched when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device is not in an inquiry scan state.
15 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 13 , wherein the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device cannot be connected when the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device is not in a page scan state.
16 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 10 , wherein the one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
determine an application program corresponding to the classic Bluetooth of the second dual-mode Bluetooth device according to the Bluetooth low energy advertising packet; and prompt the user to download and install the application program, when the application program is not installed in the first dual-mode Bluetooth device; or prompt the user to open the application program, when the application program is installed in the first dual-mode Bluetooth device.
17 . The dual-mode Bluetooth device according to claim 10 , wherein the one or more memories storing programming instructions for execution by the at least one processor to:
