Abstract
Healthcare object management systems and methods are presented. Health Object Identifiers (HOI) representative of healthcare object (e.g., medical records, data, etc.) can be derived from biometric data associated with a patient. HOIs can resolve to a network location where the healthcare object can be accessed. Biometric data, or other types of object data, can be exchanged among computing devices and the healthcare object. On exemplary use of HOIs includes self assembling personal data records as sensor data is obtained.

24 . A computer-implemented method of assembling a digital object record, the method comprising:
acquiring, via at least one processor, a digital representation of an object and object data associated with the object; deriving, via the at least one processor, a prefix from at least a source of the digital representation; deriving, via the at least one processor, a suffix from the digital representation; forming, via the at least one processor, a unique identifier from the prefix and the suffix, wherein the unique identifier represents and resolves to a storage location associated with the object; and storing, via the at least one processor, the object data associated with the object as a digital object record at the storage location according to the prefix and suffix from which the unique identifier is formed, wherein the digital object record is thereby made accessible at the storage location by a computing device through resolution of the prefix and the suffix.
25 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record comprises science object data.
26 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record comprises media object data.
27 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record comprises game-related object data.
28 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record comprises augmented reality object data.
29 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital representation of the object is based on medical sensor data.
30 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital representation is based on non-medical sensor data.
31 . The method of claim 30 , wherein the non-medical sensor data comprises one or more types of sensor data selected from the group consisting of: accelerometer data, GPS data, camera data, and microphone data.

The method of claim 24 , further comprising deriving, via the at least one processor, at least one of the prefix and the suffix from one or more types of data in the digital representation selected from the group consisting of: a bar code, a QR code, a proprietary code, a pattern, an RFID tag, an alphanumeric string, a logo, and a symbol.
33 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising deriving at least one of the prefix and the suffix from a hash function.
34 . The method of claim 33 , wherein at least one of the prefix and the suffix comprises a hash value derived, at least in part, from the digital representation.
35 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the suffix comprises one or more selected from the group consisting of: a GUID and a UUID.
36 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising migrating the object data to a remote object location according to the storage location.
37 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the unique identifier comprises a network address of the storage location.
38 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising instantiating a virtual machine to which the storage location resolves.
39 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record is stored in an encrypted format.
40 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the digital object record is assembled and stored in real-time relative to acquiring the digital representation.
41 . The method of claim 24 , wherein the object comprises a patient.
42 . The method of claim 41 , further comprising allowing the patient to update the digital object record via a computer device.
43 . The method of claim 24 , further comprising mapping the unique identifier formed from the prefix and the suffix to a temporary storage location.
44 . A non-transitory computer readable medium on which are stored instructions executable by a processor to perform operations for assembling a digital object record, the operations comprising:
acquiring a digital representation of an object and object data associated with the object; deriving a prefix from at least a source of the digital representation; deriving a suffix from the digital representation; forming a unique identifier from the prefix and the suffix, wherein the unique identifier represents and resolves to a storage location associated with the object; and storing the object data associated with the object as a digital object record at the storage location according to the prefix and suffix from which the unique identifier is formed, wherein the digital object record is thereby made accessible at the storage location by a computing device through resolution of the prefix and the suffix.
45 . A system for assembling a digital object record, the system comprising:
one or more processors operable to acquire a digital representation of an object and object data associated with the object, derive a prefix from at least a source of the digital representation, derive a suffix from the digital representation, and form a unique identifier from the prefix and the suffix, wherein the unique identifier represents and resolves to a storage location associated with the object; one or more storage devices for storing the object data associated with the object as a digital object record at the storage location according to the prefix and suffix from which the unique identifier is formed; and a computing device operable to access the digital object record at the storage location through resolution of the prefix and the suffix.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
