Self-supporting system and a method for the mass communication and distribution of content and digital advertising in public spaces
Abstract
The invention relates to a self-supporting system for the mass communication and distribution of content and digital advertising in public spaces, which comprises: a mechanical structure that sets the system on a building and supports the other components of the system; a control system comprising a module for controlling peripherals and a connectivity module; a peripherals module comprising sensors and actuators; one or more human-machine interfaces; and a power source. The invention also relates to a data processing method for the mass communication and distribution of content and digital advertising, which allows an administrator user to administer, manage and supervise the system remotely, and to a data processing method for allowing a user receiving the advertising message to be able to interact with the self-supporting system for the mass communication and distribution of content and digital advertising in public spaces according to the invention. The present invention allows pre-existing underused or unused urban infrastructure to be utilized for the mass communication and distribution of content and digital advertising in public spaces with high capacity for attracting the attention of, and interacting with, the public, without need to install structures or new surfaces that intrude on the urban environment, with a low cost and reduced environmental impact, owing to a low level or absence of harm to the urban environment and the reduced energy use of the system.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A self-supporting system for mass communication and distribution of digital content and digital advertising in public spaces, comprising:
a mechanical structure comprising a robotic arm; a protective case attached to a distal end of the robotic arm; and a cooling system; an projector; video cameras; a control system, comprising a peripherals control module and a connectivity module; a sensors module; a communications module, which allows connection of the system to a mobile network and an internet network; one or more administrator user human-machine interfaces; one or more message receiver human-machine interfaces; and a source of energy;
where a projection is made on a building that supports the self-supporting system for mass communication and distribution of the digital content and advertising in public spaces.
2 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising: anchors, rear anchoring supports and fastening elements, which allow for placement of the mechanical structure to a preexisting structure or a support building.
3 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the robotic arm comprises one or more joints that allow for movement of the robotic arm.
4 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the cooling system comprises thermoelectric cooling plaques, heat sinks, air filters and dehumidifiers.
5 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the projector further comprises a sound module.
6 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a peripheral control module further comprises one or more micro-controllers and a speed shifter.
7 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the connectivity module further comprises one or more micro-controllers.
8 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the sensors module comprises sensors selected from light sensors, jitter sensors, turn sensors; relative humidity sensors, temperature sensors, limit switch sensors, precipitation sensors, wind sensors, atmospheric conditions sensors, air quality sensors, among others, and combinations thereof, that allow the system to self-regulate and operate in an automated way.
9 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the communications module comprises a microcomputer and a communication sub-module, which allow bidirectional communication between an administrator user and the system in real time.
10 . The system of claim 9 , wherein the communication sub-module is selected from a GSM-GPRS or Wi-Fi module among others, and combinations thereof.
11 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a human-machine interface of an administrator user comprise an information display means and an information entry means; wherein the information display means allows to display the digital content reproduced by the projector, corresponding to images captured by the video cameras; receives notifications from the control system related to environmental conditions, with an operating status of the system, with the conditions of the projector, visualization of statistics provided by the system and reception of system failure alerts in real time and remote and automated monitoring.
12 . The system of claim 11 , wherein the human-machine interface of the administrator user comprises a virtual platform that allows for administration, management and supervision via Internet, GSM, GPRS, Wi-Fi, and combinations thereof, allowing remote administration of the system by the administrator user.
13 . The system of claim 1 , wherein a human-machine interface of the user receiving advertising message further comprise an information entry means and an information display means, thus enabling the direct, real-time interaction of a user receiving an advertising message with the system.
14 . The system of claim 13 , wherein the human-machine interface of the user receiving the advertising message further comprises an image capture device.
15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the user receiving the advertising message is able to activate QR codes, bar codes, color combination codes, which allows the user to interact with the system either by executing an advertising set or by receiving information on demand.
16 . The system of claim 1 , wherein an energy source is selected from electrical energy, alternative energy sources, and combinations thereof, with a configuration that allows to efficiently use the energy source.
17 . The system of claim 1 , further comprising a GPS module, which allows incorporating geolocation as a tool in marketing and advertising campaigns.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
