Abstract
A distance measurement device includes a first acquisition unit configured to acquire distance information on the basis of a plurality of images captured at different viewpoints, a second acquisition configured to acquire correction information of the distance information on the basis of a plurality of images captured at a timing different from the plurality of images used by the first acquisition unit, and a correction unit configured to correct the distance information on the basis of the correction information.

1 . A distance measurement system comprising:
a third distance measurement device configured to detect third information for calculating third distance information; a fourth distance measurement device configured to detect fourth information for calculating fourth distance information including distance information corresponding to the third distance information and having a temperature dependence lower than a temperature dependence of the third distance measurement device; and at least one processor and at least one memory functioning as: a correction unit configured to correct the third information or the third distance information on the basis of the fourth distance information.

The distance measurement system according to claim 1 , wherein the correction unit calculates a correction coefficient for correcting the third distance information by comparing the corresponding third distance information with the fourth distance information and corrects the third distance information using the correction coefficient.
3 . The distance measurement system according to claim 1 , wherein the third distance measurement device has an imaging unit that is able to capture a plurality of images at different viewpoints, and
the fourth distance measurement device has a light receiving unit configured to receive a projected laser beam.
4 . A moving body that is able to move by itself, the moving body comprising:
a third distance measurement device configured to detect third information for calculating third distance information; a fourth distance measurement device configured to detect fourth information for calculating fourth distance information including distance information corresponding to the third distance information and having a temperature dependence lower than a temperature dependence of the third distance measurement device; and at least one processor and at least one memory functioning as: a correction unit configured to correct the third information or the third distance information on the basis of the fourth distance information; and a control unit configured to control the moving body on the basis of the third distance information corrected by the correction unit.
5 . A method of controlling a distance measurement system, the method comprising:
acquiring third distance information output from a third distance measurement device; detecting fourth information for calculating fourth distance information including distance information corresponding to the third distance information and acquiring the fourth distance information from a fourth distance measurement device of which a temperature dependence is lower than a temperature dependence of the third distance measurement device; and correcting the third information or the third distance information on the basis of the fourth distance information.
6 . A non-transitory storage medium on which is stored a computer program for making a computer function as respective units of a distance measurement system, the distance measurement system comprising:
a third distance measurement device configured to detect third information for calculating third distance information; a fourth distance measurement device configured to detect fourth information for calculating fourth distance information including distance information corresponding to the third distance information and having a temperature dependence lower than a temperature dependence of the third distance measurement device; and a correction unit configured to correct the third information or the third distance information on the basis of the fourth distance information.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
